"ENAMOR"

"of course the room is already gone, it's been years." [y/n] muttered, mentally facepalming. after taking a quick nap with kazuha, the duo decided to ask permission to look around akahana's old bedroom, in search for anything that might lead them to her.

"before mother's belongings and furnitures were taken away, i was the first one to inspect her bedroom, i haven't found anything that holds great value except from jewelry. not even a letter nor a map." ayaka said with her arms crossed on her chest.

"she really left without leaving any tracks huh." thoma joined in. "well, she prepared her escape for years.." ayaka trailed off. kazuha stayed silent, trying to come up with a solution.

"as much as i want to end this search, i can't bring myself to give her up. i need to atleast know if she's still walking around teyvat." [y/n] sighed. "if i wasn't occupied with my own duties i would've helped you more." ayaka smiled sadly. "trust me, you've done enough.. helping me fight off ayame and her vicious group. i should be apologizing for declaring a fight in the middle of your birthday party."

"there's no need! i part of me have always wanted to swing my blade at them in full strength until their bodies were cut in half. besides, i could never stay mad at you, especially after i've opened the present you gave me." ayaka smiled once again.

kazuha and thoma watched as the two communicated. the blonde averted his eyes from the two and placed them on kazuha, who had a knowing smile on his face, full admiration in his eyes, all to [y/n]. "such a love-struck expression you have there, must really like them a lot hm?" thoma smirked. "didn't have to point that out. wonder what i've done to receive such an exquisite blessing from the heavens."

"i'm sure they share the same thoughts as you." thoma replied. kazuha raised an eyebrow at this. "really? what makes you think that?" they were on the other side of the room; ayaka and [y/n] were too busy talking to one another, this conversation kazuha and thoma were having is left unnoticed and unheard by them.

"for a captivated samurai, you're pretty dense." thoma chuckled. "quit mocking." kazuha said in a serious tone. "okay, okay."
"i'm sure [y/n] loves you as much as you do, neither of you probably noticed how your eyes hold these deep incomprehensible feelings everytime you look at them or the other way around; but from those who aren't involved in the relationship, it's quite noticable." thoma continued.

"who would've thought that our little samurai would find a partner. i'm proud of ya." the green-eyed man pat kazuha's back. "neither can i believe that i've found someone like [y/n]. i have always thought that i'll just sail and travel overseas for the rest of my existence." the samurai unaudiably chuckled.

"we can never tell."

"you wanted to have a word with me?" [y/n] came to see aether after ayaka had told them that he wanted to speak to them. leaving poor kazuha in thoma and ayaka's hands for the meantime. luckily, they didn't have a hard time searching for the blonde, who was sitting on a rock next to a river. "[y/n], hey, yes actually." aether set his fishing rod aside and faced [y/n] with a smile. "so.. about the mention of mr. zhongli.." [y/n] trailed off. "i asked to speak to you to give you the explanation to that." the blonde nervously chuckled at this.

"mr. zhongli sent me to look after you during your stay here in inazuma." aether answered straightforwardly. "of course he would." [y/n] sighed. "my original plan was to befriend you so i can look after you more but i didn't want to get in the way of your relationship with kaedehara." aether admitted.
