"AWAKENING FROM A FAIRYTALE"

there are times where we fail to differentiate reality from a fantasy. too caught up with the joy, only to be awoken by the aching truthfulness of life.

three days had passed, with still no clues in hand. [y/n] grew frustrated, in worried for their mother. out of the three kamisato siblings, [y/n] was the one who was most affected by the fact that they still couldn't find the pathway they were searching for. if they were to be honest, they absolutely had no idea what to do next.

their main plan was to go to inazuma and talk to the contemporary members of the kamisato clan, hoping for information that can help them take another step closer to achieving their goal. but no, so far, they've only heard of histories and backstories that holds no use. they've fully understood what aether had to go through.

kazuha had attempted to comfort [y/n] as much as he can, like giving them random gifts, even taking them on islands they've never stepped foot in before. as much as they appreciated the samurai's efforts, they still couldn't get their mind off of it.

any child would've given up on searching for their birth mother who they were never even given a chance to see, nor hear, nor touch. but [y/n]; they stated it as their main goal in life. they thought, if i were to state a reason as to why i have trained physically and mentally hard every single day, it'd be for those people i cherish who i never got to free from the iniquity of this sickening world, along with my existence being the reason why.

may sound dramatic, but, if anyone were on their shoes; having to live and train to survive at a young age, not experiencing a merry childhood most youngsters had gone through, being seen and treated as an outsider for their divergent mindset; it was a whole lot to take in and they haven't even reached the legal age at the time.

only few had known of their existence since they would always distance themselves. ever since being kid, they have learned to despise things in detail, including their whole being. [y/n] used to have a habit of always blaming themselves for anything that goes wrong in their surroundings.

though they absolutely hate almost everything as a 12 year old, morax and the adepti was an exception; let's say, they acted more differently compared to others who only received a cold glare and tone in voice from the young mortal.

however, there was a time where they crossed paths with someone who they never thought any mortal could hold such a contagious mellow aura..

((random facts to avoid confusion:

- [y/n] didn't have xiao around to be there for them around this time. they only communicated with each other if necessary, to deliver morax's requests for example. [y/n] didn't find anything interesting about him, they used to view him as a grumpy old man and that was all.

- cloud retainer was the one who trained them when they were young.

- [y/n] didn't know much about the adepti before, including the vigilant yaksha's backstory. the adepti decided to keep their stories aside at that time since they thought [y/n] was too young to process such information.

- [y/n] was the one who had to have a long discussion with rex lapis, asking for him to allow them to train despite being the age of 7 after studying the monsters that roamed around teyvat.
