"STORM"

"ok but do you ever wonder if we can cook hilichurls and feast on them?"
"[y/n]..that's like cannibalism."

the two sat down next to each other in the blubber room. the samurai gently cleaning his trusty katana while the other would rant about nonsense out of boredom.

[y/n] sighed as they softened in the couch they're sitting on. "what's it like in inazuma? do you get to explore there even with the whole electro archon issue?"

"you'll be fine as long as you stay under cover. which i'm an expert at." kazuha chuckled lightly. "ooh? pray tell?"

"i..uh.." before kazuha could even finish his sentence a strong vibration of the vessel suddenly interrupted. the two looked at each other before rushing up the stairs, almost knocking some items out due to misbalance.

it was dark and cloudy outside, looks like there's a storm coming. "ah shit." the captian stood in front of them, her back facing the two. "bei, what's happening?"

"just hold on to something tight." beidou rushed to the steering wheel. the cryo wielder turned to look at kazuha, only to see him looking down at the water. "there's something underneath. " the rain started to pour harshly.

[y/n] hurriedly walked beside him to peek down the water. there was a hint of glowing blue that is visible underwater. it bumped on the hul of the ship, causing the both of them to fall on their backs.

kazuha immediately stood up and sprinted away, pulling [y/n] with him. "TAKE COVER!" the white haired boy shouted, loud and clear enough for his crewmates to hear. the samurai led [y/n] behind a pole to hold on to.

a huge splash of water flood the ship due to the sea creature finally revealing itself. (i don't know how to describe it and i have no originality so think of it as a mini osial with only one head:))

"what the fuck is that." [y/n] said, out of breath. their clothes were damped and the weather only made the temperature cold enough to make their teeth chatter.

most of the crew members were sent to the safer side of the ship which is the captain's quarters. while the others who are more experienced with fighting rushed to get their weapons to face the monster.

"YOU, take the wheel and avoid it's attacks!" beidou told her most trusted crew member before grabbing her claymore.

[y/n] and kazuha also equipped their weapons for battle. "that thing looks more horrifying up close." [y/n] held tightly on their spear.

the thing roared before sending waves towering over them. kazuha attempted to dodge it while grabbing [y/n] close to him.

but only for the person he's holding on to to slip from his grasp due to the movement of the ship. causing [y/n] to get hit by a strong wave. "[y/n]!" he tried reaching out to the cryo wielder who was slowly standing to their feet while coughing water out, using their weapon as support.

the samurai had to avoid the harsh water splashing on both sides of the ship, he couldn't get himself to help them. thankfully, beidou rushed to [y/n]'s side on time to shield them from another splash of water using a wooden plank to protect the both of them.
