Who is the mom ?

Chapter 43

Wanda heard a knock on her bedroom door. She got up and opens it to find a smiling Natasha with a bottle of wine.

Nat: "I believe you owe me a girl's night."

Wanda: "I'll get Pepper and Hope."

Natasha walked into the room. She placed the drinks and glasses on the table and sat on the bed. Two minutes later, Pepper and Hope poked their heads through the door. They entered showing some snacks and with huge smirks on their faces.

All the girls sat down on the bed, around Nat and took some of the pillows to get comfortable. Then the serious conversation could start, 'cause what's a girl's night without some spicy questions right ?

Nat: "So, Wanda, what's going on between you and Vision ?"

Pepper: "Wait, hold on. How's that Wanda and Vision ? I thought Bucky and Wanda were something !

Hope: "Oh girl, you have some explaining to do !"

Wanda: "Well... I thought I liked Vision and we talked a lot but he doesn't seem to be willing to take a step further in our relationship... I'm not sure he likes me. And then there's Bucky, he has flirted a bit with me and we have been talking and gotten closer these past few weeks... But I don't know if I like him... I don't know, it's complicated.

Hope: "Well, In my opinion, Bucky looks way hotter than Vision."

Nat: "And he is Steve's best friend since childhood, I know for a fact that he has these lovely gentleman manners just as Steve does and believe me... It's amazing when a guy is so gentle."

Pepper: "Yeah, well you know it's not like Vision is a bad guy but if he doesn't seem to be putting effort in bringing your friendship to something more, maybe it's not meant to be."

Hope: "But you know you also have to listen to your heart, if you feel things with Vision that you don't feel with Bucky then what's the point of him being more attractive than Vision right ?"

Wanda:"Is that what happened with you and Scott ? True love took over physical looks ?"

Hope: "Ok. First of: Rude ! And second of all: You haven't seen him without a shirt !

Pepper: "I wouldn't want anyways. No offense."

Hope: "Non taken. I actually rather keep that sight to myself."

Nat: "Not to brag on but we all have to admit that it would be fair to say my soon-to-be husband is the most attractive man on this planet. Apart from being a helpless romantic and a genuinely nice guy."

Pepper: "Hold on, what about my man ? He is handsome. And smart."

The "boys talk" kept going for quite some time while the girls had some snacks. Maria eventually decided to make an entrance saying she would have liked it better if she hadn't been told about the girl's night through a voice mail message on her phone. The subject of the conversation then kept changing through the night until it came back to the girls' love lives.

Maria: "So... I'm curious about one thing Nat. I've heard the people in the rooms around your's and Steve's bedroom complain about some noises...

Nat: "Yeah, well... Sorry not sorry !"

Wanda: "Oh no... You aren't getting away with this. You don't get to keep us awake all night and then keep the details to yourself... Spit it ! How is he in bed ?"

Nat: "Well, you know how he runs faster than everyone here and he doesn't even get tired ?"

Hope: "Ok. But we kinda already figured out that he could keep going all night long... We want real gossip !"

Nat: "Ok, let's just say that the serum really enhanced EVERY aspect of him which means EVERY single part of his body !"

The girls burst out laughing. And the night kept going. Until something hit Natasha. She had a question for Maria as well.

Nat: "So Maria, you asked me about Steve, it's only fair I get to ask you a question."

Maria: "Sure, but it doesn't mean I will answer."

Wanda: "How is that fair ! We answered all the questions."

Maria: "Fine. I will answer. Happy ?"

Nat: "Yep. So... What about you and Sam ?"

Maria: *pretending to not understand* "What about me and Sam ?"

Nat: "Are you two together or what's your deal ?"

Maria: "Nah. We're just friends. Plus I'm pretty sure he likes Bucky."

And again they all bursted into laughter. They kept talking, drinking and eating for the night.

A.N. : Next chapter will be father-daughter bonding time with Steve and Lexi. Be prepared for some cuteness overload. I'll try to post it Friday night but I'm not sure I'll be able to because of college so, if it's not out Friday it'll be uploaded Saturday.
