Another theme song: "Can You Feel My Heart" by Bring Me The Horizon

Just so you know the next couple chapters are pretty much going to have their songs because they work surprisingly well for the story. (That and I love their music)

Belle's POV

I smiled as I saw him. I didn't even care that he was in a cage. All I knew was that I had found him.

"Belle..." Artemis said, obviously confused, "How do you know Percy already?"

I noticed the guy, Percy, flinch.

"Bane..." He said back almost immediately, "It's Bane."

His voice worried me. It sounded raspy unlike the smooth voice I remembered. Also it sounded so...broken. What did they do to him?

"Fine then," Artemis said turning to me, "How do you already know Bane."

"We met once," I said, turning to Bane, "It was the night before I joined the hunters."

"You don't mean..." Artemis looked at me warily. I nodded looking at Percy-I mean, Bane. Bane just looked down seemingly ashamed.

"Why is he in a cage?" I asked feeling sad for the broken man.

"He's dangerous," Artemis said, "You out of all people should know that. He's killed good people."

I nodded knowing it's true. But I also knew that wasn't just it, it couldn't be. The moment I met him I saw something inside him and yeah I know he's a monster but that night I saw goodness in him. He let me live, that has to count for something.

"Can I talk to him My Lady?" I asked, "Alone?"

Artemis didn't look happy but hesitantly she agreed. "Ten minutes," She said.

"Thank you," I told her, grateful.

Her and the others slowly left the room and I heard the door click shut behind them.

Percy's POV

"Well?" I asked softly.

Belle didn't answer, just walked over and sat in front of the bars. She was close enough to touch and it scared me. If I lost control...

"I never stopped looking for you, you know," She said casually, "When I met you I was fascinated. And when I joined the hunt, I saw it as an opportunity."

"After what you saw me do why would you want to find me?" I asked confused.

"I don't know," She answered truthfully. We sat there for who knows how long and I was beginning to feel worse. The bloodlust was screaming at me. The pounding in my head was getting worse. And as we sat there...a sickly sweet scent drifted towards me.

Eat. Maim. Kill.

"You should leave," I said. Too close, I thought.

"I'm not going anywhere," She said stubbornly.

"Fine. Then you need to leave," I growled out.

Kill. Kill her. Do it. Now.

"Bane fight it," She said.

KILL.

It was getting louder. Maybe just...one bite...

"GO!" I yelled grabbing at my head, trying to block out the wolf's voice but my attempts were futile. I shut my eyes closed just praying for the hunger to go away.
