Annabeth's POV

Everyone stared at Percy. He couldn't be dead, he just couldn't. Still...Hades confirmed it. He was dead.

"I hope you guys are happy." I said to the gods, "This is what you wanted right?"

No one said a word.

I walked towards his lifeless body. He was so determined to survive and I had hope. I thought he really could of done it.

We carried his body back to Camp.

Of course Luna was the one who met us at the boarders.

"Hey guys! How was the awar-" She started but stopped when she saw Percy.

"Oh my gods," she said, shocked, "Wha-what happened?"

The camp came just in time to hear it.

We told her the story from the beginning. She was furious at us when we said we had a part in it.

"My brother," she said, sobbing, "My brother, the only living family I had is d-dead!"

Suddenly the whole camp broke down into tears, even the new ones who didn't really know him cried a little.

It's my fault really. I told them the prophecy.

I thought back to the one line I never thought through.

Try to keep this a secret from all the lands.

I should of thought it through. This never would of happened if I kept to myself. Now the gods were weak and the only man who could kill Kronos is dead.

Luna's POV

My brother...I couldn't believe he was dead.

I was barely aware of the bawling camp behind me.

We all slowly made our way to the campfire where we would burn his shroud.

"Today a great tragedy occurred," Chiron said, "Our young hero, Perseus Jackson has fallen. He is known as many names. The twice savior of Olympus, the barer of the titan's curse, the praetor of Camp Jupitor, the unofficial leader of Camp Half-Blood, the survivor of Tartarus, the son of the sea god. But most of all, he was known as a friend. He was supposedly killed by the hand of Kronos but I believe different."

He paused, gaining his confidence.

"I believe that, yes, Kronos did finish the job, but what really killed him, were those who lured him to Olympus. We caused him to fight because of a mere prophecy. We let fear control us and we were willing to lure, and kill, a more than innocent soul. I want to make sure that this never repeats itself. We...are to make sure this never repeats itself."

He is crying at this point.

"It is now that we say goodbye to our hero. It is now that we make our oath to protect those who are innocent no matter the cost."

We all vowed. It is what he would of wanted.
