Luna's POV

I stared at the place that he stood just moments ago.

He had saved my life.

Perseus Jackson is alive. But...

He isn't Percy.

The man I saw was not the caring, loyal brother that I new. He was a bloodthirsty, terrifying monster that had torn apart a whole army because of me.

But then again, he seemed so scared when we found out. He saved my life because...because I'm his sister.

I'm his sister and I refuse to believe he's a monster.

He's just a scared boy who tried to help us.

But something in my mind keep telling me there's more, something I'm missing.

I looked up at Artemis who was probably talking to me but I haven't been listening.

"We need to go after him," I said out loud.

"What?" Artemis asked.

"We need to go after my brother," I repeated.

"Luna...that-that thing is not your brothe-" She started but I didn't want to hear it.

"You have no right to call him that," I spat at her, "You voted AGAINST HIM ARTEMIS! YOU WANTED HIM DEAD! AND IF YOU THINK I'M GOING TO LET YOU MAKE THAT DECISION AGAIN...we'll then you'll have to go through me. He has done nothing but be good to us. Heck, even when he was dead he still hunted monsters. Who knows how many lives he's saved and what have any of us given him in return? Grief, misery, pain...death. So don't say he isn't my brother. Because while you might have seen a monster...I saw a scared boy who had just wanted to help his sister in a fight."

Artemis looked shocked at my outburst. All eyes were on me.

"So if you still plan to kill him," I said knowing that's exactly what the gods would do, "Then I want no part of it."

I threw my silver bow and arrows on the ground before turning around to find my brother.

After a couple steps I felt a hand on my shoulder. Artemis.

She held out my bow.

"I'll help you find him," She said, "Alive."

I smiled before taking the bow and continuing on my way to my brother.

Only this time I had Artemis, Thalia, and the rest of the seven at my side.

Percy's POV

I finally stopped when I thought I was far enough. I had had enough of that camp. Especially now that...

I shook my head. Get rid of those thoughts.

I groaned again when the hunger hit me. For days I've been trying to control the bloodlust but I know if I don't have some soon...I'll lose my mind.

As if on cue a human walked by. She hadn't seen me yet good.

I controlled the mist to make it look like I had a bad wound on my stomach. I yelped in pain and sure enough the mortal took the bait.

I made sure she didn't see my claws or eyes. I keep my mouth shut so she wouldn't see my fangs.

"Oh you poor boy!" The girl exclaimed, "I'll call an ambulance. First let me try to get that blood to stop..."

She had trailed off when she saw my hands. I smiled slightly.

"You're...hands."

I looked up giving her a toothy grin before I lunged.
