I heard the quiet noise of snoring, and I opened my eyes to catch what it was. Lifting my skull from the bed side it was lying on, I saw Oliver sleeping away, his face completely bandaged. How long had been? Why was I here? What happened?

That's when the memories of falling into the black void flooded into my brain as if it was water filling up a bathtub. "Pandora?"

Oliver stirred as I asked my question. "Princess Pandora? Where?!"

He shot up, attempting to tear the bandages off of his face. I shrieked, "Wait no. I said nothing! Keep those on!"

He paused, slouching back into the bed. "Oh."

"Are you feeling any better?" I was quick to change the subject.

"Yeah! Can I take off the bandages now?" he pleaded.

I giggled. "Sure, I'll check up on your progress."

I leaned over the bed, untying the wrap that revealed the damage of his scares. To my amazement, his face wasn't half as messed up as I thought it was. Scratch marks coverd his nose, sure to leave a scar, but that was all. Did I really over react that badly? It's impossible to tell whether it was bad luck or me just being stupid.

"Hey, where's Blue?" asked Oliver, and I remembered all about the culprit that scratched up his face.

"Oh crap! I totaly forgot!" the cat on my mind was busy napping by the window in peace. "Here he is."

I petted blue, appreciating how well Oliver was brushing his fur. Blue purred and lifted his head to look at me, but something didn't look right. Blue's patch of fur in the middle of his forehead looked green instead of blue. Oliver looked at me, confused by my silence. "Is Blue ok?"

"I don't think so. Look at this," I picked up the cat (which he wasn't a fan of) and let Oliver inspect. "His little patch thing is green. What does that mean?"

"I'm no cat specialist, so you probably need to take him to a cat specialist," Oliver smiled, and I held back my urge to say 'thanks captain obvious.'

"So, who is a cat specialist?" I questioned, not knowing enough about the world of the gods to have met anyone that specializes in cats. It wasn't a very common profession. Then again, there is a god and goddess for just about everything.

Oliver thought before looking back at m with an answer. "Lady Bastet! She is an egyptian goddess that has a ton of cats. I'm sure she can help you."

"Lady Bastet?" I pondered, failing to keep my eye on Blue. While I wasn't looking, he had thrown up on the both of us. "Yep, we're leaving now!"

After cleaning up and getting ready, I used the dimension staff to open a portal to Egypt. I hopped through the portal with Oliver right behind me at the foot of a pyramid. "Here we are. The Temple of Cats."

"It's very... normal," sighing in relief that chaos would be out of the question for the day. I was expecting some sort of cat themed temple in the clouds, but this made much more sense. The thing that made little sense was why there were so many stairs. Who knew the challenge of the week would be getting inside the pyramid, let alone talk to Lady Bastet. So, we climbed, not that we had a choice. Poor Blue was cradled up in my arms like a helpless newborn, and NOT having a good time in the dessert.

When we reached the top, they surprised me to see that there were no guards or protection of any sorts. Since Zeus was having a conniption fit over the incident at his child's birthday party, I expected everyone to be on the defensive side. Pushing open the sandstone doors, I inspected the creepy tunnel decorated with coffins, cobwebs and dim torches that looked like they would go out at any minute. Great, more issues.

I took a torch from its place on the wall and lead the group forward. "This place is scary."

Oliver trembled behind me as I tried to make out anything useful in the distance. "I'm sure it will be-" the sound of the large doors slamming behind us cut me off. The entire hall became 20 times darker, which is never good, and the oxygen speeding by, putting all the torches out. Typical.

"AAA!" Oliver shrieked and I could hear his footsteps run in all different directions in a panic.

"Oliver!? Oliver, where are you?!" I yelled, but all that followed was a soft help getting farther and farther away. I should have known the stairs would not be the worst of my problems. Stupid.

I felt along the walls of the hallway, trying to reach the end if I could, but I tumbled into a new hall that branched off the main hallway. I walked forward until I felt the wall on the other side of the hall, but I didn't feel it for a minute. That must have meant there was another hall branching off from the one I just came from. After walking left and right, down corridors and accidentally walking into a lot of cobwebs, I stepped on a tile that sank into the floor a bit.

The next thing I knew, I was falling through a void. Another black, endless void. "AAA!"

I then landed, bouncing up and down in the air before gravity took its course. Once I inhaled after screaming for a good minute, I took in my new surroundings. What did I see?

Cats. Lots of cats.
