The plan? Allow me to explain. Ichor had Pandora's box, which meant luck had done 50% of the plan for me. The other 50% I was sure would not be handed to me on a silver platter. My idea was to go to Ichor's realm, retrieve the box, and convince Medusa to tell us where she hid the wish seed. How was I going to convince her? I hadn't gotten that far in my plan, but I was sure that I could find a way.

That was until we actually walked through the portal I created using the dimension staff into the realm of blood. I shivered as a gust of wind blew my hair violently to the right.

"Is it ANY WARMER in your castle?!" Phosphora shivered as she tried to warm herself up. Snow covered the ground like a thick layer of vanilla frosting on a cake. Amidst the cold stood a castle in the distance. The moon shined from behind, making the castle nothing more than a silhouette. I had seen nothing more ominous and yet beautiful in my life.

"Of course it is warmer in the castle! I lit a fire before we left," he ensured, as I closed the portal, cradling blue in my arms. A shiver went down my spine as he led us through the snow-drenched forest to his castle. Welcome to my humble abode!"

Humble wasn't the word to describe the castle in the slightest. I looked around at the Victorian style entrance and noticed that the trend didn't stop there. The entire castle was like something out of a vampire-themed anime, with all the regal decor painted in red and black.

The whole goth aesthetic seemed to be a trend for the vampire-like god, in particular. Everything he had, from his fireplace to his shoes, had Victorian/goth inspiration, had been incorporated everywhere. And honestly, I felt like I was in a book.

"How about I treat you both to some dinner before we go summoning spirits," Ichor suggested, his princely demeanor never faltering. The god of blood led us into a large dining hall with an enormous chandelier hung from the ceiling.

"This place is enormous," I gasped under my breath as I stared at the size of the dining room. What could have possibly compelled him to have bought all those chairs? The answer we beyond me, but I remembered that this question wasn't the point when I heard my stomach growl. After stealing bread from Mt. Olympus and hunting small forest creatures for the last few weeks, a big feast was definitely an order.

Before I could take a step near the table, I heard a grotesque shriek, like someone was dying in the next room. Phosphora was quick to scream and point out where she thought it was coming from. "OVER THERE! GHOSTS!!!"

She ran to the exit, screaming hysterically as I looked where she had pointed. At that moment, my entire body froze at the sight of spirits emerging from inside the wall! It was safe to say, that it was a good time to panic.

"WAIT, STOP!" yelled the god, chasing after Phosphora. "THEIR FRIENDLY!"

I could hear Phosphora stop in her tracks. "Really?"

"You are my honored guests! It's not like I would put you in danger," he replied. I was still shaking at the sight of ghosts flooding into the room, carrying trays of food and filling the empty seats. It was a sight to behold. Though, I did not know whether to be scared or astonished by the spirits pouring into the room like a glass being filled with water.

"Wh-wha???" the words coming out of my mouth weren't enough to even put into sentences. They were like the high pitch whispers screams I did to be dramatic sometimes, but this was no k-drama. My fear and disbelief at that moment were real as heck!

Ichor walked over to the chair at the very end of the table and motioned to me, signaling me to sit down. Against my will, I held Blue close to me, shaking as I reached the table and sat down. The god of blood pushed me up to the table and I freaking lost it. My mind spun with all the weird things I had seen that day. And now I had to eat dinner with GHOSTS!?
