(Pit's POV)

It was that day, that stupid day I will never forget because I had enough time to react. It started when Lady Palutena suggested that the search team should look for (Y/n) on Mt. Olympus. Before that horrible day, I was sulking around Skyworld, trying to get my mind off of her when I wasn't searching the cities around the area during the daytime.

The only other time (Y/n) had left was when she tried to save us once before... from herself. This time wasn't any different, and it made me think how absorbed she was in protecting the world from something she thought was her fault. Stupid world, stupid Pandora, and stupid bad luck. How come was it always (Y/n) getting herself into trouble and why was it she that thought she was always responsible for cleaning it up? That's my job as a commander, after all. I wish she was there so I could tell her that.

Flashback

She and I were looking for (Y/n) on Mt. Olympus when we came across a shop full of ancient jewelry and artifacts from all over the universe and even in different dimensions. It was SO COOL! Lady Palutena told me not to touch anything, but I couldn't help myself from picking up a shiny laurel crown with extra fancy details. I wanted to buy it, but the voice coming from the back of the shop distracted me, and put it back down to listen in on the conversation.

"Hello, delightful customers! How may I help you?" asked the shop owner.

"As beautiful as your merchandise is, I only came to ask you about something," Lady Palutena replied, holding up a picture of (Y/n). "Have you seen this girl?"

The woman looked at (Y/n) with an 'I'm over this expression and asked, "So you are after her too? Sorry, but I can't help you."

"What? What do you mean 'too.' we are the only ones looking for this girl," Lady Palutena set the record straight. The woman sighed and led us outside the shop door. "Look around at all these posters. The reward is enough to set the world on fire."

Lady Palutena ripped one poster off of the notice board. "What!? Pit, come see!!!"

"See what-" I cut myself off at the sight of the poster. "A missing poster for (Y/n)? Did Viridi put these up?"

"Um..." Lady Palutena trailed. She looked super worried, which wasn't normal to begin with, so something was going on. "It's not a missing poster, Pit."

     "What?"

     "It's a wanted poster..."

     (Blue's POV)

'Must... stay... awake!' I thought as I lay upon my current resting chambers. And no, I wasn't attempting to lift my being from that position of rest. I was planning something that would take far more strength and power with my fatigued state. The weaker I became, the more my fantastic persona was put to shame. The sickness might have gotten to me, but my mightiness surely exceeded what any measly setback like that could ever accomplish. Nothing could ever surpass the greatest feline alive— "Cough, cough!"

I knew that it would have been the most strategic approach to work through the suffering, but the burden was certainly a yolk to bear.

My task was to retrieve my weakened powers from my emblem of the gods, perfectly disguised as a patch of discolored fur scathing across my forehead. It was time. I focused all my energy and felt as it surged through my veins, fleeting to my forehead like a rapid river rushing into the enormous ocean.

My glassy eyes closed shut, ready to take me where my power was to take me. Where was that? I was going to the human, of course, for she had gained my favor and it was my duty to protect her as she has me. The sickness was the setback that had kept me from doing the task for quite a while. I needed to be cured immediately.

Upon opening my eyes once more, I had found myself in a forest, tall trees blocking out the sun and shading and nocturnal creatures from fear of day. I'm sure they had other purposes other than helping my sick body, but I decided not to contemplate and continue my search. I turned around to view the surrounding area to see a hill mounting high above me and bathed in sunlight where the tree limbs did not sway their branches in the wind. What a perfect summer's day.

Jumping from steep edge to steep, I climbed my path to the top in record timing. What was this place guarded by gold bars and tall temples from the greek era that exuded a feeling of warmth from the cool colored shops and its residence? I slipped through the thin bars, my fur cooled by the untouched bars of glistening yellow.

My paw would have quickly scatted the street to explore if it weren't for the mob coming my way... and the human! I had finally found her after all that energy. Carrying my sickly being along the ground, I trotted along to catch up with her as she hid between two buildings high in the sky to escape. What had she possibly don't this time to cause such a boisterous, ear-piercing scene in the middle of that city? The reason was far beyond my understanding of human ridiculousness.

"Pit! I found her! It's (Y/N)!" I heard a cry of satisfaction compacted with a pinch of relief. It was none other than that in green-haired woman in the flesh! I then quickly searched the surrounding grounds to see if Carl was accompanying her, as she was away from the temple. I sighed out of gratefulness to the gods when he had not been present at that moment in time. That was when the bird boy dashed from the store after the human had made a break for it. How usual for her to always be in a hurry, but now was certainly NOT THE TIME to be ICONIC!!!

Suppressing my urge to scratch the nearest person's face-off, I attempted to follow the girl as she disappeared into the woods. Neither the winged boy nor I could catch up as if she were fifty files an hour. This was going to be exceedingly difficult.

(Pit's POV)

I flew above the forest to get a bird's-eye view, but there were too many trees. How would I be able to find her in a forest that size? My stomach sank with the thought that I had lost her a second time. "(Y/NNNNN)!!!"
