Laughter filled Uyuu restaurant. The trio was enjoying their time, eating and laughing at each other's jokes.

"And? What happened next?", The h/c colored hair girl asked as she shoved a piece of egg roll in her mouth.

"I ran behind the Ronin, although the Ronin was too tall and his helmet covered blind spots, he still persistently looked for me!", Tomo says before picking up a sushi roll with his chopsticks.

"To be honest, I have never fought or encountered a Ronin before", y/n chuckled.
"Well, if you do encounter one I swear I'll protect you", Kazuha faced y/n. "Eh? What about me? I can't just stand there and watch you become y/n's knight and shining armor!", Tomo's cheeks puffed.

y/n would be lying if she said Kazuha is her knight and shining armor. y/n wants Tomo himself to protect her.
despite being visionless, her friends still consider her to be strong.

Tomo's words made Kazuha's face go bright red, "No, I can't be y/n's knight and shining armor, I only want to protect her as a friend" Kazuha sounded casual, although it didn't suit his bright red face.
"Why can't you two just be my protectors?", y/n gave out a look of triumph.

"Of course. Aren't we already your protectors, y/n?", Tomo formed a smile on his face.

y/n's heart skipped a beat, her ears went red and stared at her now empty plate.

"Wah-! Y/n, are you okay?", Kazuha stood up from the stool "your face is...beet red" he continued.

The h/c colored hair girl made a fast glance at Tomo, on which she found him having a worried look on his face.
"I'm...fine. I just remembered an embarrassing memory from back then ", y/n reasoned.

"Well if that's what you say", Tomo said before standing up from the stood followed by y/n.

"Thank you for the meal", Tomo left a pouch of mora on the table.

"Are you sure about this- I mean, you could've asked us to-", Tomo then hushed y/n by placing a finger on her lips.
"Trust me, it's fine!" Tomo reassured but was met with a glare from Kazuha.

The trio left Uyuu restaurant.

Kazuha waved his hand as a goodbye and walked in the opposite direction. Kazuha just can't admit how jealous he gets whenever he sees Tomo and y/n walk home together as they live so close to each other.

This eventually left Tomo and Y/n alone. Together.

"Before we head to our homes I uh...", Tomo stumbled through his words, which lead y/n confused and nervous at the same time.

"I want you and I to see the stars tonight", Tomo finally finished his sentence.

Stars? Y/n tilted her head and agreed.

"It's not that far, It's just by Byakko plains", The milk beige hair colored man then took y/n's wrist and lead her to Byakko plain.

"Tomo, you're so fast you're quite dragging me", y/n giggled. Moments like this just make y/n so happy, although she's worried for Kazuha.

Y/n keeps on thinking, what will happen between her and Kazuha the moment he learns y/n's feelings for Tomo.

As soon as Tomo and y/n reached a small elevated area in Byakko pains, the two sat down and looked up at the starry night sky.

Y/n's eyes were filled with awe, a small smile formed on her face.

"So...Tomo...why'd you bring me here?", y/n asked, her gaze is locked at the starry night sky.

"thought you'd like it. I knew the night sky tonight will be beautiful, and I know well that you like seeing the stars so clearly since it's usually cloudy due to the storms", Tomo replied. "now that we're here we still could've brought Kazuha with us y'know", he sighed.

"I thought you just wanted to be alone, with me?", y/n's eyes met Tomo's.

"Haha~ could tease that boy's feeling for a bit. It's quite obvious he's in love with you, I can see it in his eyes...crystal clear", Tomo broke the eye contact.

"Well, we've seen what we have seen, we should head back before your father--" Tomo was about to stand up but was stopped by y/n grabbing his sleeve but the girl stayed silent.

"Can we stay...for a bit more?" y/n quietly said, but loud enough for Tomo to hear.

The samurai sighed and sat back down, but this time closer to y/n.

"But what about your father? won't he get mad at you for getting home very late?", he worriedly asked.

"It's fine, as long as I get to spend time with..." before y/n continued she paused, this lead the milky beige haired to look at her with utter confusion.

"spend time with the stars" y/n gave Tomo a reassuring smile.

"y/n...you've been acting weird lately, is there something wrong? or are you hiding something from me?" Tomo furrowed his eyebrows.

"Tomo, I'm fine. I'm just so happy that I have a friend like you"

No. Y/n doesn't want Tomo to be just her friend, she wants her relationship with Tomo to be more than that.

"I'm glad. Take care of Kazuha for me then" Tomo looked at the sky with his purple eyes.
The h/l haired girl furrowed her eyebrows.

"Tomo...i...like...y-" before y/n could even finish Tomo interrupted her.
"Wah~! Did I just see a shooting star?! oi y/n, make a wish!", Tomo's eyes sparkled.

He didn't even care. y/n took a deep sigh and placed a hand on her aching chest.

"Do you seriously still believe in those?", y/n jokingly slapped Tomo's arm.
"Who knows if it's genuine or not, but if you make a wish, you'll either face the repercussions or get your wish granted! That's what I've believed since I was a child "Tomo said before ruffling y/n's hair

"Well then...", y/n rose from the ground, joined her hands together, and closed her eyes. "I wish...that the man I truly like would eventually notice my feelings. I've had these feelings for as long as I can remember, and...I want he'd always be by my side!" She yelled.

Tomo gazed at her, perplexed. That was the most surprising thing y/n had said.
"I had no idea you were such a hopeless romantic," Tomo exclaimed, and y/n pouted back at him.
"Let's go home..." y/n said, placing a hand on the amethyst-eyed man's shoulder.

Tomo nods.

y/n stood outside her front door, but before she opened it, she returned her gaze to Tomo."I had a good time...thank you," y/n bowed slightly to show respect."It was nothing, seeing a friend happy makes me happy," Tomo said, smiling.As soon as those words left his mouth, y/n's face warmed up.

"So...I'll see you tomorrow, and I hope we go there again!" y/n grinned and swiftly opened her door before Tomo could hear her father reprimanding the girl.

Tomo then continued and walked to his home

"I sincerely hope I'll be able to see you...again"
