Chapter 14: I promise you, I'll protect you.

Seokjin let out a sigh in frustration when his eyes laid on the lady who was standing only some feets away from him.

Though it looked like, she didn't even saw him but while having this thought that ignoring her will not help much, he walked to her.

"Mrs.Kim, it's nice to see you here. It's been a while"

He gently bowed lightly and faked a smile, then the thought jungkook being present here rushed through his mind so he looked back.

He slowly signalled him to leave through his left hand and by being unnoticed by the lady.

She smiled looking at Seokjin, "You are right. It's been while since I last you. You have become even handsome than before"

Seokjin smiled, "Your son Is no less ma'am, Thank you for the compliment though"

She raised her brows, "I have told you over thousand times not to refer me as "Ma'am" I said aunt will do well"

Hesitantly seokjin nodded, "Sure"

He looked back again and jungkook was still standing there but this time, the lady seem to notice it as she looked back but Jungkook immediately turned around.

Seokjin looked back at her and noticed her staring at Jungkook's back who was casually walking away, "Why..."

He cleared his throat to get her back to reality, "I guess I have to leave now. Hope you have great day ma-- I mean aunt"

But she didn't seemed to care about seokjin's words at this moment, "Who was that boy?"

It took some seconds for seokjin to understand who she was talking about and he immediately panicked even though he shouldn't had.

"Who are you talking about?"

She look at Seokjin and pointed back but Jungkook was out of their sight already.

"The boy who was just here..."

Seokjin let out a sigh in relief, "I think you have misunderstand something. He is...he's just a friend of mine. I don't think that you have ever met him before."

She didn't seemed to be convinced by his words but still nodded, "I guess you are right. You had to go, right? Bye. Take care of yourself. Hope to see you again soon"

Seokjin smiled but who knows if it was fake or real?

"Thank you, same for you"

He again bowed Lightly to her before walking away while she was still standing there looking at his back.

"I don't know but I feel like...it was really him..."

She shrugged of these thoughts are went her own way but on the other hand, as Seokjin made his away towards his car, he could see jungkook standing there while leaning on it.

Jungkook looked up when he heard footsteps approaching him, he raised his brows when he saw seokjin getting in the car without any word.

With a confused face, he opened the door and sat in the passengers seat, he looked at Seokjin with a question mark on his face.

The other had already started driving but he could sense the look jungkook was giving him.

"Just let it out Already, don't look at me like that"

Jungkook pressed his lips together confusingly though he was looking so cute.

"Why did you told me to leave?"
