Chapter 20: You used to envy other people's life but now they will envy yours.

Jin took a sip of coffee that was placed on the well decorated table and looked at the woman in front of him.

"So let me casually ask you. What is it that you wanted to talk about?"

She smiled, "Why are you so in a rush? Let's have something---"

"I don't have time."

She sighed, "Then let me be straight as well. I don't know what you are up to but...you didn't had to bring Jungkook in all of this. I know you are just using him to get what you want."

Jin stayed quiet for some seconds but then he burst out laughing, he tilt his head and turned a straight face. "Why do you even care? I am a bit shocked to know that you even know that Jungkook is still alive. But why does it even matter? It's not like you cared before so why now?"

She clenched her fist but kept it down and showed a calm expression on her face. "What do you even know?"

Jin rolled his eyes, "That's biggest problem. That I know everything."

She raised her brows in confusion, "And what are you now trying to point at?"

"If you are here to talk to me about this then I would like to take my leave now. After all, it's of no use."

She closed her eyes trying to find a reason to stop Jin and all of sudden, she said something that made him stop immediately.

"Does Jungkook know that? That you were with his dad in his last moments?"

"What did you just said?"

She leaned on the chair she was sitting on, "Why, Did I said something wrong? Isn't it true?"

Jin gritted his teeth, "I don't know what you are talking about--"

"So what was his last words?"

This one and only sentence made Jin's blood boil in anger. "You want to know?" He fake smiled with tears in his eyes, "Too bad but I can't tell you that."

She looked and bit her lips, "Look seokjin, I know you are angry for what I did to Jungkook but I had no other choice. I--"

"I don't have time for this. Tell me. Who is that person? Who is giving you all this information? Did you perhaps send someone to spy on me? Ah...you probably did. So who is it?"

Mrs.kim or Seokkhyung or maybe Mrs.jeon (🙃) shook her head and for some secs, Jin thought that she was going to deny it but...

"It's true. There's someone but you won't ever be able to find him or maybe her."

Jin placed his hand behind his neck in frustration, "Just stop here. If you really are sorry for what you did to Jungkook then please just stop before you regret something. Cause you know. Regret Is the most painful thing in the world.

If you already regret your actions and the decisions you made years ago then stop making this even more harder for me and for Jungkook. You are now taehyung's mother so please take care of him the way you couldn't for your own child.

That's the least you can do for all of us and especially stay away Jungkook. That's the best for all of us. He wants to be happy in his life and that's only possible If you'll not appear in his life ever again so hide yourself well.

Somewhere he won't be able to find or else, I'll take him somewhere you won't be able to find him. That's all I had to say. I'll take my leave now. Have a good night."
