My dad had this quote from Euripides. "The ocean washes away all the evil men do." But I'm not sure that's true. I don't think the ocean washes away anything.

If anything, the ocean makes you remember.

Sitting around the fire at night, with my friends - with my family, I know I'll always remember this.

It doesn't matter where we go, or what happens to us

It doesn't matter where we go, or what happens to us. We remain together. And I think the ocean will never let us forget what we've been through. Just like it doesn't let me forget my father is gone.

Everything's gone wrong again.

We lost, but we won some things along the way.

I'm grateful, I still have my brother. I still have my friends. They're alive and they're safe. And I'm with them.

We said we had nothing to lose, but we were wrong. We had each other - luckily, we still do. We'll always have each other.

I don't know how long we'll be stranded on this deserted island. I don't know if anyone will ever find us, if they never do... that's okay. Because I have everything I need here with me.

We can deal with this, we've been through worse.

At the end of the day, we're pogues, right?

Pogues for life.
