"He's pinched for sure, man" JJ whispered.
After trying to get Sarah to come with them with no luck, Kiara suggested they could sleep at The Wreck. They all agreed and spent the night there.
Kiara and Brizo were still sleeping. The girls had a long talk that night about everything that had been going on. Also, they hadn't got the chance to talk about their fight, and Kiara wanted to apologize since she knew Brizo and Pope were right.
They talked about John B, JJ and Pope. Kiara told Brizo that when Pope and her went to fid Sarah, he told her he was in love with her. They laughed and gossipped as they used to do before all of this happened. Brizo tried to give her advice about Pope, however, Kiara said it was crystal clear for her that she didn't want to date him.
"No. They wouldn't still be patrolling if they caught him" Pope said looking at the police car that passed by the restaurant.
"Let's hope" JJ said, looking at Brizo, who was now waking up. He didn't know if the girl could keep going if she lost her brother too. He was sure it would be too much to handle. Brizo was strong, sure, but John B was everyhting she had left.
Kiara and Brizo were now awake, and walked to where the boys where to join them in their conversation.
"You know, we were in that car. They're probably looking for us, too" JJ said.
"Well, if we're gonna be outlaws, we might as well help John B" Pope sighed grabbing the keys to JJ's bike from the table.
"So, find him before they do?" Brizo asked.
"Pope?" Kiara called, watching the boy walk to the door.
"I'm gonna get gas for the boat" He sighed, stopping to answer her question.
"Hey, you be careful"
"Meet me at the dock at three. Don't be late" He said to JJ and Brizo, ignoring completely Kiara and walking out of the restaurant with Kiara following him.
"This is gonna be good" Brizo muttered before she followed the two outside.
"Okay, what is your problem?" Kiara yelled as Pope climbed on JJ's bike.
"No problem, officer. I'm just doing my job" He shrugged.
"Look, I'm sorry that I hurt your feelings" She tried to say, but Pope revved the engine.
"What was that?" He asked.
"Look, I didn't mean to-" He revved the engine again, annoying the girl.
"Sorry, I can't hear you. What was that?" This time he didn't stop revving the engine.
"Pope, I'm being serious- I'm trying to talk to you!" She yelled, but it was useless, because Pope had already started the motor and was driving away.
