Chapter 10

Kyla's pov:
It's been two weeks since me and Stevie broke up, I feel empty I just work and come straight home cat normally not at home she's always busy as she's been working early in the morning and college now dates so she normally comes home late. My days I go work after college, normal day walk home as I'm trying to save up for car, when I get come start studying clean just normal house life things.

Saturday evening at home day off work no plans watching YouTube sat on the sofa, just thinking about life instantly I go to my contacts I see Matt number I think for a moment if I should text him we haven't spoken for a while so I go ahead and text him,
To Matt: hey Matt how's you?
I sent the text and go back to my YouTube, but feel a bit hungry walk towards the kitchen for a snack when my phone starts ringing, walk towards to answer I see it's Matt so I answer.
Phone call
Matt: hey Kyla saw your text your not busy are you?
Me: hey no sorry about that just through to see how you were
Matt: oh it's okay no problem I'm alright what about you how's life?
Me: well just normal, had a break up not long ago and just work and college nothing much,
Matt: oh really sorry to hear how you holding up, I didn't know you were dating
Me: yeah it never came up but I'm fine, anyway I'm planing cats birthday party soon she doesn't know, anyway it's next month would you be able to come.
He stayed quite for a second
Matt: hey sorry I'll have to see then I'll let you
Me: yeah that's fine
We continued on call just talking and laughing it was amazing for once in these two weeks I didn't feel alone, it's amazing talking to Matt he makes me laugh like on one else will I get this feeling that I can trust him feel I can tell him anything really it's amazing.
Me: hey Matt we have been on call for almost two hours, what time is there?
Matt: it's almost lunch time what about there?
Me: almost 9pm but it's amazing talking to someone thanks for this while.
Matt: it's fine really I needed this too
Me: well I bet you have a busy day you better get going we will talk tomorrow or later
Matt: bye Kyla it's always nice talking to you
With that we ended the call I have a great night just talking on the phone lost in my throughs cat walks in.
Conversation
Me: hey catty how was your day?
Cat: it was normal finally my day off tomorrow
Me: that's good we need a girls day haven't had one ages
Cat: that's right we need to see when we have a day off together
Cat: am going up to get in the shower be down in a bit
With that she walked up, and I just felt like I need to go for a walk
" hey cat am going out be back soon" I shouted for her to hear.
I just needed to leave this house a bit some air, as I walked out side felt this winter breeze it's England always winter just walking to no where when I get a text
From Matt: hey are you awake?
From me: yes went for a walk
Few moments after he calls me
Conversation:
Matt: hey so why you went out so late be careful
Me: oh I'm fine just been home all day needed some air
Matt: okay just promise me you will be careful
Me: I will thanks to worry about me
Matt: no problem that's what's friends are for, so abut the party I'm free I'll get cam to go too.
Me: that's cool he was here a couple days ago but couldn't get ahold of him he had to leave he was here like 2/3 days course I didn't even see him
Matt: I know I had a meeting but I'll let you know if he goes too
And again we stayed on call for another amount of time now he's just keeping me company on my way home it's so nice of him to worry about me.
