Harry's POV
Her smile, her hazel eyes, her. Everything about her made me like her even more. I couldn't lie. I was in love with Logan Garner. The way that her long brown hair cascaded over her shoulders, the way she walked with grace and balance.
My heart melted just thinking about her.
She was perfect to me.
She passed me in the halls, avoiding my gaze. "Logan." I called, she quickly looked over her shoulder. Her long lashes defining her hazel orbs.
I followed after her, grabbing her shoulder. "Stop.." She whispered, her body tensing at my touch. "Lo-"
I was cut off by her smooth voice.
"Harry. Stop it."
She shook her shoulder forward, tugging herself away from my touch. The new boy caught up with her, turning his head to give me a questionable look.
She smiled up at him, exposing her white teeth. I've never seen her smile in ages.
"Haz." Zayn called, jogging up to me.
"What?" I questioned, my gaze still locked on Logan.
"Party at my place tonight. You coming?"
I continued to stare down the hall, Logan disappearing around the corner.
"Yeah. I'll bring a.. Date.." I informed him.
Logan's POV
I walked out to the front of the school campus, searching the schools tarmac for my red Porsche. I spotted it, making a swift pace and heading for the door.
"Logan.."
I froze, my hand on the handle of the car. The raspy velvet voice ringing in my ears. He placed his large hands on mine, making me grow weak.
"What do you want Harry.." I whispered, my voice trembling.
He ran his hands up my arms, to my shoulders, his curls brushing my cheek from behind.
"Nothing. Just trying to be a bit... Nicer." He cooed into my ear.
His breath against my bare neck made me shiver.
"That's what you said last time.." I said, my voice cracking.
He pulled away from me, turning my body to face his.
"I mean it this time." His voice sincere, his eyes soft. The lighter shade of green reappearing.
"Why can't we just be friends like before?" He asked me in a desperate tone.
"You and your friends. That's why.. You didn't do anything that night." I snapped at him.
I saw a flash of regret in his eyes.
My head began to pound, memories from that night two years ago making me nauseous.
"I'm sorry.." He whispered.
I rolled my eyes, opening the cars door. Harry yanked it open again, "Logan.. Please I want to change things.." He said, taking my hand in his. I pulled away, quickly.
"Why now..? Why not before..?" I asked him. The tears threatening to spill from my eyes.
"I-I.." He stuttered out.
"Exactly." I said, placing my hand on his chest and pushing him away.
"Logan." He called, as I pulled out of the lot. I shook my head, withdrawing the salty droplets from falling.
My phone began to ring continuously, I picked it up, placing it on speaker.
"Hello?"
"Logan.. It's Louis." He greeted.
"Oh, hi Lou.."
"I was just wondering if you would like to go to a party tonight. N-not as dates or anything.. But friends?" I could imagine the smile bestowed upon his lips.
"I'd.. Love to."
