Logan's POV

I arrived at school a bit earlier than expected, the halls were vacant, the occasional student passing by.

I let out a sigh, sweeping my hair over my shoulder.

A small envelope was placed in my locker. I narrowed my brows inquisitively, reaching for the white enclosed paper.

I picked it up, opening it hesitantly. Pouring the contents into my hand, I saw the small charm.

The small paper airplane.

I touched my own necklace, the twin charm dangling from the chain.

I felt the tears line the brim of my lashes.

"Harry.." I whispered, running my thumb over the tiny plane.

The faint memory of when I gave it to him in Year 9 replayed in my head.

The promises we made.. The secrets we shared..

I looked into the envelope, a small note still inside.

I pulled it out, unfolding the lined piece of paper. The neat hand writing familiar.

I felt a small a knot form in my throat, one single word was written.

'Goodbye'

I walked over to his locker, trying my best to remember the combination.

62-23-14. Fuck.

His birthday? 2-1-94. I cursed under my breath when it didn't work.

9-13-94. The locker made a clicking sound, alerting me that it had worked. My birthday... I shook my head in bewilderment. His locker was completely empty, everything gone. I saw a small picture taped onto the back of his locker.

I pulled it off, staring at the photograph. I felt the tears stream out, my heart beating fast.

The two people in the picture looked so happy, in love... The way that they looked at each other, the smiles on their faces.

It was a picture of us...
