Logan's POV

"Stop Lou." I squealed, he continued to kiss my ticklish spot beneath my jaw.

He nuzzled his face into the crook of my neck, giggling at my reaction.

I playfully shoved him, planting a small kiss on his lips.

A knock on the door startled both of us, interrupting our moment of intimacy.

"Damn." I heard Lou curse under his breath, I pecked his nose lightly before making my way to the door.

I opened the door, the smile on my face disappearing as soon as I saw those chocolate brown curls.

"Can we please talk?" He asked quietly, his eyes hesitant to meet mine.

I let out a sigh, shaking my head, contemplation clear in my tone.

"I-I.."

"Logan, babe, who is it?" Lou called, his footsteps nearing.

"Gracie. I'll just be having a step out for a quick moment." I said, quickly making my way out and shutting the door behind me.

I looked at Harry, chewing the inside of my cheek vigorously.

"You have a minute." I said, crossing my arms.

"Why'd you give back the charm?" He asked, you could see the silver chain around his neck. The small charm peeking through the white v-neck he was wearing.

"Why are you wearing it?" I inquired, ignoring his previous question.

His green orbs locked on to mine, "Because.." He mumbled, running his fingers trough his curls, tousling them softly.

"I-I'm wearing it because... Because I.. Because I still care about you... And I want to prove that.. That maybe we could still be friends.." He whispered faintly.

I narrowed my brows, "Still be?" I asked, "Right now we AREN'T friends..after everything you've done to me... You should be considered lucky.. Because I-I.." I choked on my own words, the tears threatening to fall from my eyes, face burning with embarrassment.

"Why?" Harry pushed, his low raspy voice finding a way to make me shudder.

I shook my head, looking down.

"Tell me Logan.." He ushered, taking a step closer and placing his hand in my forearm.

I looked up at him, my hazel eyes softening with an unfamiliar reaction.

"Please.." He whispered.

"I gave it back to you... Because.. Because- because I hoped that we could change things, bring things back to the way they used to be." I lied.

We both knew I was lying, he could easily sense something was wrong.

"Okay.." He mumbled, nodding his head slowly.

I still yearned to tell him the truth, he truth in why I actually gave it back. But I just couldn't.

Because if I said something, told him the true values of that charm.

Everything would be over..
