hello beautiful peoplec:

-NEXT DAY-

Logan's POV

"Mummy!" Darcy cried, from the playroom. I rushed in, watching her cower from Liam.
She never seemed to take a liking to him. "What's wrong Darce?" I laughed, picking her up and making her look at me. She eyed Liam, a worried expression on his face.
"He's a sweetheart, darling." I laughed, edging closer to Liam and having him extend his arms.
Darcy's eyes widened, squirming as I tried to get Liam to hold her.
"Now why are you having such a temper young lady?" I inquired, sitting us down on the floor and pouting.
"Harreh.." She said, wrapping her arms around my neck.
I could feel myself cringe from the sound of his name, "Darcy... Honey... This man right here, he's just like Uncle Harry." I said, making her sit in my lap and face Liam.
Liam offered out his hand, Darcy shying away.
"Darce..." I cooed, grabbing her hand and putting it in his.
"See?" I laughed, watching her reaction. She stayed put, green eyes locked onto Liam's. "Harreh." She humphed, pulling her hand away and staring at me with a pout.
Someone knocked on the door, "I'll get it, why don't you bond with Darcy?" I laughed walking out of the room and to the door.
I was greeted by a mop of curls, green eyes distressed. "H-Harry..." I stuttered, watching him fidget in place.
"Can.. can we please talk?" He asked hesitantly.
I nodded my head, biting my lip and following him out.
"Listen... about the other day..." He began.
"It-It's fine... It was no big deal..." I whispered.
"Well... it was to me... I never meant to insult or hurt you..."
A faked a smile, looking up at him. "You didn't. Everything is neutral between us." I confirmed, turning to head back into the flat.
"Not just yet." He mumbled, grabbing me by the waist and placing his lips on mine.

Harry's POV

She kissed back, her lips moving in sync with my own. After seconds into the kiss, she pulled away, clearing her throat, and looking down at the ground.
"I... Harry... I can't do this..." She whispered, shaking her head and putting her hands against my chest.
My head rested on hers, breath heavy.
"Why..?" I asked her, putting my hands on top of hers. Her eyes grew teary, "I just can't Harry."
I let out a sigh, bringing my lips together and meeting her gaze. "You... You've moved on. I understand that. And..." It broke my heart just lying to her, "and...I have too."
Her brows rose, lips slightly parting. "Oh.."
"I... It's for the best." I chuckled, tears nipping at my eyes. "It... It always is."
"Y-yeah.. I guess so." She whispered, wiping away a few tears that had fallen onto her cheeks.
I took a step back, turning and walking away from the house.
"Wait... Harry..." She called, making my head whip around.
"Hmm?"
"If.. If you moved on... then why..." She chuckled, face turning red. "Then why'd you kiss me..?"
My mouth opened, no words seeming to escape.
"I.." I began to hesitate, shoving my hands into my jean pockets, "I guess I just needed confirmation.." I said.
Logan nodded her head, lips pressing together.
"Bye Lo..." I waved, my heart dropping.
I could faintly here her goodbye, her voice faltering as well.
I did what El had told me to do. I did what I needed to do to get Logan back.

-DAY BEFORE-

Eleanor's POV

Harry was still seated on the floor, eyes wandering around the room.
"What do we need to talk about..?" He asked, finally meeting my gaze.
"Logan..." I whispered, "and you."
"There's nothing between us." He spat, jaw tightening in response. Harry didn't seem to be pleased with the topic, all his actions and movements emitting his ignorance.
"She's obviously moved on Eleanor. She has that new boy... Liam.." He said with a blunt tone in his voice.
I never wanted to break Liam's and Logan's blossoming relationship, but I pitied Harry..
He was like my brother before all this had happened.
"What if I told you, I could help you get her back..?" I asked hesitantly, "Would you take up on that offer..?"
Harry brought his lip between his teeth, nibbling on the pink skin. He slowly nodded his head, "I... I would.."
I sighed softly, over thinking what I was about to tell him.
"The first thing..." I began to contemplate everything I was about to do, stopping mid-sentence and looking at my lap.
He needed my help right now, Logan did too. She wasn't paying attention to whom or what she'd be losing. "Harry... the first thing you need to do is play with her emotions." I regret saying that, shunning myself into stooping so low to break another relationship apart.
"All you.. you basically have to do... to do is make her realize what she feels for you..."
"I thought you and her were close friends."
"We are Harry... and I hate having to do this to her." I whispered, playing with the bottom of my jumper.
"Then why are you doing it?"
"Because I believe that you and Logan were meant to be..."
