Logan's POV
I fell asleep on the floor, my face stained with tears and mascara. I didn't wake until I had heard Darcy bawling. Standing up quickly, I attended to my crying tot, her face red as the tears poured from her green eyes.
"Darcy... Mummy's here.." I hummed, picking her up from the crib and carrying her around the room.
She began to calm down, breathing heavily into my chest.
"Are you hungry baby?" I inquired, pulling back to look into her eyes. She nodded her head vigorously, wrapping her tiny arms around my neck and waiting for me to go down the stairs.
I put her into her chair and began to prep her a bowl of apple sauce and a bottle of milk.
She smiled up at me, putting her hand into the sauce and giggling madly.
"Oh Darce!" I scolded, taking her hands out of the sticky substance and wiping them up.
My phone began to ring from the other room, the loud melody carrying into the kitchen.
"Eat up properly Darce." I sighed, putting the spoon in the bowl and running to grab my phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey Lo." His Wolverhampton accent cooed.
"Hey Li.." I beamed, walking back into the kitchen to find Darcy with apple sauce all over her face. I shook my head, wiping the sauce from her face and scolding her quietly.
"Do you mind me coming over?" He Liam inquired.
"No, not at all. Give me a ring when you're close by."
"Okay. See you in a bit love."

Liam knocked on the door, a smug smile on his face.
"Hey." I smiled, he leaned in kissing me on the cheek and enveloping me in a warm embrace.
"Hello beautiful." He laughed, walking with me into the living room. Darcy was on the couch, staring at the telly, fascinated by the purple dinosaur on the screen.
Liam walked up to the small tot, sitting next to her and looking at her with a smile.
"Hello Darcy." Liam beamed.
Darcy's brows narrowed, her pink lips curling into a pout. "Hi." Darcy mumbled, averting her gaze back onto the telly.
"How are you today?" Liam asked, amused by her reaction.
"Whurr's Harreh..?" She asked, gaping at Liam with her bright eyes.
"Uh..."
"Sweetie... Uncle Haz is at home." I interrupted, grabbing Liam's hand and taking a seat next to him.
Darcy let out a loud sigh, slumping down onto the cushion.
"Can we talk...?" Liam whispered after a moment of silence, nodding over at the kitchen.
I nodded my head, standing and following Liam.
"Do you still have feelings for him?" He asked immediately, his brows knit together.
"Who..?" I stammered, shaking my head.
"Harry..." He sighed.
"N-no... of course not.." I whispered, hoping Darcy wouldn't hear me.
Liam let out a deep breath, peering into my eyes. "I'm sorry... It's just the way he looks at you..."
"No..no... don't be sorry..." I murmured, eyes meeting the floor.
"You love him.. don't you?" He whispered, after the room had gone quiet.
I felt a tear roll down my cheek, eyes meeting his. "I do.."That's when I broke into a sob, no longer caring if my child could hear me. "I-I do love him Liam." I muttered. wiping away the tears that were falling from my eyes.
I grabbed Liam by the arm, dragging him up the stairs and into the bedroom.
Disappointment was traced into his features, lips tightly pressed together.
"I don't know why I do though..." I sniffled, finally gaining the courage to look into his eyes. "I understa-" I cut him off, shaking my head. "N-no... you don't Li."
I rolled up the sleeved of my jumper, exposing the fading scars that lay etched into the skin of my arms.
Liam's cold fingers grazed my skin, tracing the scars one by one.
"Why..?" He muttered, eyes sullen and dull.
"Harry... he was... he was..." I couldn't find the words to speak, my heart breaking as the painful memories began to flood through my mind.
I could feel his fists pounding in to my gut, hands encircling my neck as he forced me against the wall. More tears gushed from my eyes, lips quivering as I pictured those green eyes fading into the black soulless creature from before.
