Logan's POV
-3weekslater-
"Bye Lou.. Bye El.." I murmured, grabbing the small piece of luggage from the corner of the room.
"Are you sure you want to leave?" Eleanor asked, a concerned look in her eyes.
That was the question I have been asking myself for the past three weeks. To leave.. Or to stay..? I couldn't help but to contemplate whether or not what I was doing was right or not... But I needed to. I had to leave... It was the right decision... For me.
I nodded my head, lower lip trembling as I gave Eleanor a hug.
"Take care of Lou okay..?" I whispered into the crook of her neck. She nodded in response, squeezing me tighter, "I-it was lovely meeting you."
I glanced over at Louis. My ex-fiancé... My best friend... "And you.." I muttered, the tears pricking at my eyes. "You. You... Stay you." I laughed, hugging him tightly.
"Don't you ever change..." I whispered into his ear, "because that.. That's what I fell in love with..."
"I'm gonna miss you Lo." He cried into my shoulder.
"I'll be back soon enough..." I mumbled into his chest.
"...I love you.." He whispered into my ear.
"And I.. I love you too." I poked his chest, trying to break the sad moment with a smile.
"I better get going." I waved, wiping away the stray tears.
I saw Lou and El give their final goodbyes before disappearing behind the door.
I knew that before I had to leave... I had to face him. To see his cheeky smile before all of this would be a faint reminder. To see those green eyes and pink lips...
I exhaled a deep breath before stepping out of the car. Walking towards the door I lightly knocked, thinking about what I was to say.
"I'm sorry. I forgive you. I love you. Goodbye." I said aloud, running my fingers through my hair.
Why was it so difficult to find the simplest words? To speak to him?
The door creaked open, my head snapping in his direction.
"Hi.." I mumbled, giving him a slight wave. He opened the door completely, the dark wash jeans and white v neck accentuating his lean physique. Bright green eyes meeting mine within seconds.
"Hey." He mumbled, running his fingers through his shorter hair.
"I..I just came by.. To say.. I'm-I'm sorry. And that... I forgive you.." I mumbled, playing with the end of my hair.
A low chuckle sounded through his chest, a smug grin on his lips.
"It's..it's all in the past now I guess." He sighed, leaning against the door frame.
"Yeah..." I whispered, eyes making contact with the floor.
"If you want to get your stuff.. You know you can." He motioned behind him.
"Umm. Thanks, are they all you know..." "Packed?" He finished my sentence.
"Yeah." I mumbled awkwardly.
"Uh.. Yeah. I'll get them for you I guess." He said.
"Thanks.."
I waited for a few minutes, standing at the door and playing with my hair. For a mere moment, I thought I had heard a females voice emitting from the flat.
Harry came down the steps, my few bags in hand.
"Here you go." He said, handing me the black and white suitcases.
"Thanks again." I sighed, giving him a faltering smile.
"No problem.. You living with Louis again..?" He had inquired, watching me intently.
"Actually.. No." I said.
His brows furrowed, lips curving downwards. "Where are you staying?"
"Harry-"
"Babe? Who's at the doorrrr?" Someone else had called. I could feel my expression contort into something resulting in disappointment.
"Oh..." I stuttered, beginning to walk away.
"No..no Logan.. You don't understand." He said defensively following after me.
"I'm pretty sure I can understand you've moved on." I retorted, my face heated.
"Lo-"
"It's fine Harry... I-it's fine." I lied. I let out a deep breath, my watery eyes fixing on to his.
"Logan." He whispered, grabbing my wrist.
"Haz... It's completely fine." I croaked.
"I've moved on too."
"Oh.. You have?" His voice faltering as well.
"Yeah.. I'm moving to America."
