Logan's POV
The smile on his face slowly began to disappear, a look of bewilderment took over his features.
"A..a daughter?" He questioned, mouth slightly ajar.
I nodded my head vigorously, brushing away the few strands that lay dangling in front of my eyes.
His lips pressed together firmly, eyes set on me in curiosity. "You're...you're kidding right... it's... it's just a joke?"
"Why would I kid about something like this Haz?" I questioned him.
He fidgeted around nervously, running his fingers through his curls.
"She's so lovely Haz.... She has your eyes..and your dimples." I murmured, looking him in those shiny green emeralds.
I heard a small sob leave his lips, "Why didn't you tell me..?"
I struggled to find the right words, stammers of confusion leaving my mouth.
"Why Lo?!" He was now raising his voice, making me grow even more anxious. I kept quiet, chewing at the inside of my cheek vigorously.
"Logan!" He barked grabbing my wrists and pinning me against the wall.
I yelped out in a quaking fear, lower lip quivering in pain.
"Why didn't you tell me..?" He croaked, a look of defeat in his eyes.
I put my hands against his chest, shoving him away and ducking underneath his arms.
"I don't know Haz! Maybe I was trying to protect her. Keep her safe..." I yelled.
"From what Logan?!?"
"You."
His body tensed, jaw clenching as he watched me run out of the house.
He chased after me, grabbing my waist and turning me around.
"What's her name..?" He whispered.
I drew in a deep breath, breaking free from his hold and walking towards the cabby.
"Darcy." I mumbled, closing the door and driving off.
