he broke.
he broke and he know he would never be complete again.
she was dead. dead. gone. forever. just like that.
why?
why hadn't she told him?
everything made sense now.
he had read her letters. he had died with every word of hers. he had died over and over again.
and he believed her.
he believed her and he loved her more than anything.
but he did not only believe her, and love her, he also forgave her. for everything she had done. he understood. and he thought he might have done the same.
he was sorry. sorry he'd given up so easily. and mad. mad at himself.
and even though he knew it wouldn't bring her back, he answered her letters. all of them. and he wrote even more. every day. it made him feel better, even if it was only for a few minutes that he could stop grieving.
he loved her.
and he knew he had to go on with his life. he did. he did it for her because he knew she would have wanted it.
but he never stopped writinh to her. every day he sat down in front of her desk, or on top of their bed, or in front of their tv, or on the floor of their roon and wrote letters to her. and he never stopped loving her.
but he kept living and you know what? she saw it. she saw all of it. his forgiveness. is love for her. and his strongness. he was so, so strong. so unbelievably strong. she didn't know if she could have done that.
but then again, she kind of had, just before her death. and she almost felt happy. happy for him. and even for herself, a little bit.
he loved her. and she loved him. and she knew it would be like that forever.
he didn't know wether she could see him, but he at least knew that his love for her would last forever. and that was enough. for both of them.
only a keeper knows that love stays forever, even when we are not here anymore.
