Echoes of Metamorphosis

Chapter 10

{A/N: Just before I start the chapter, I just wanted to say: I can't believe that I'm already on the tenth chapter! Thank y'all so much for reading and enjoying my story [I hope ;)] Anyways, I'll get on to writing the chapter now!}

"Are you guys okay? What happened?" Asked Damian, wanting to be sure that we were both okay and out of harm's way. Damian sat down next to Quinn and she explained what had happened not even 30 minutes ago, and while they were talking I went back over to the pharmacist who had finally bought out the rest the supply of testosterone, and of course I was smiling like an idiot. "Will you be paying for this?" they asked. "No, my doctor said that they'd pay for it all." I replied. They looked at me with a sort of confused expression, like they didn't know what to say to that. I then said my thank you's and walked over to the door for Quinn and Damian. Then I got to thinking that Damian was actually pretty hot and really fucking attractive too. Maybe I was bisexual? Or maybe pansexual? I wasn't sure about any of that right now because all I could think about is that I really want to get home to start T.

I was still staring at Damian when he looked over in my direction and winked at me. Am I imagining things? Or did he just wink at me? I tried not to look too surprised at that but I'm pretty sure I failed at that, because he was definitely smiling back as if he was saying 'I can wink at you all I want, and you'll still love it'. As they were finishing their conversation, they both started walking towards me so we could finally leave and head home. Which I was very happy about. "Hey, you guys ready to head home now?" I asked. They then both nodded. I was saying that we should drop Quinn off at her house and I was thankful that they agreed. I only wanted Quinn to be as safe as possible in her own home.

We were nearing Quinn's house and we stopped to say goodbye and hug each other. I watched as she walked to her front door and went inside, hopeful that it wasn't too late. I then walked back over to Damian and we made sure that Quinn wasn't at her bedroom window and we sped off with our vampire speed and towards the huge mansion that we call home. When we finally had a chance to stop before actually arriving back home, I asked Damian about what he thought the noise was that Quinn heard back at the doctors. "I have a feeling that it was a lost puppy, though not sure what kind, it got away before I could get a good look, so it could have been anything." He said. "Now, let me ask you a question; why were you staring at me?" I suddenly felt shy, unsure of his reaction. "Uhh well, I thought that you looked really attractive helping us this evening." 'Oh god, why did I just say that?' He was just smirking and looked like he was enjoying my embarrassment.

"You think I'm attractive? Huh, that's very interesting to know." He said while still smirking. I tried to hide my face with my hands but, Damian didn't like me doing that. So, he come closer to me and moved my hands away to reveal my completely red face from embarrassment. "Hey, you're cute when you're embarrassed. Don't hide that part of you."
Damian saying that gave me a slight boost of confidence, which I had never felt before. I think I was about to explode inside with the happiness I was feeling. "Hey Damian, can we actually go inside now?" He then sort of came back to reality and we walked up towards the house. As we were about to go into different directions, I asked Damian if he could help bring up all my testosterone to my room and he agreed. So, I gave him about half of what I had in my bag, and we hauled it all up to my room.

When we finally reached my room, Damian said "Are you excited to get started on your transition?" 'I didn't think that he would be interested in this side of me.' I thought. "Yeah, I am actually. I've been wanting this for as long as I can remember. And now I finally have it and it's happening." I replied as I was opening an empty drawer for it all to be kept in. I then asked him if he wanted to be in the room when I do my testosterone gel and smiling, he said yes. I think I was internally screaming.

I'm leaving this chapter here because it's been a long process of getting the idea for said chapter actually on paper (or in this case, on screen) but this one is a bit of a long one lol.
