wow!
chapter five -

▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

THE WORD love can be cruel- twisted and one sided. Will there be any love without any of them? Humans are messed up beings after all.

"Kei-chan," You opened the door to his classroom. A familiar fragrance that you were used to- your smile widens as you made your way to the young man sitting on his wooden desk. Eyes closed with his hair flowing together with the wind.

You took a seat from the desk right infront of him and placing your bag on his desk, "Let's walk home together."

Another day of you asking the young man to walk home. The first time of you asking- Baji dodged your question and went to Chifuyu who was passing by coincidentally. Don't get him wrong- it's his first time being in a relationship. And being a student who was a delinquent back in middle school- he had never approached a girl in his entire life merely because he was focused on fights.

That day- your heart was torn apart like papers but that doesn't mean you would give up easily at your partner. You would really want to get to know him even better and so- it has been around five days since you've asked him to walk together back home.

As for Baji, he did felt guilty. The moment he walked out together with Chifuyu, he was bombarded with words such as 'Why aren't you together with [name]?'

'You're being a bad lover, don't you know.'

'What kind of man rejects someone's offer to walk home? Moreover [name] might go in danger when she's walking around in the streets all alone and no one would protect her!'

Those words never went out of his head, Baji shuddered silently before arranging his stuffs on his desk. Maybe... just today- he'll walk you home. Is what he was thinking right in place.

You arched a brow and swallowed as you get anxious every second, waiting for his answer- If Baji walks out of the room, this will be your fifth reject.

Eventually Baji rose up from his seat, you raised your head to look at him. Softly biting your dry lips as you blinked repeatedly.

No words came out of your mouth but instead you quietly examine every moves he makes in hopes that he would accept your offer.

And you were wrong- Baji leisurely made his way towards the door holding two school bags.

It pains, really- Nothing seems to be improving in both of your relationship. It feels like the two of you are still strangers who are forced into being together. Where can you find love in that?

You sighed, hanging your head down- holding back your tears. You've tried hard enough but it's really getting tired. Baji wasn't even making any effort....

Why did you even said that in the first place? Do you really want that attention so bad?

Wet drops came in contact on the back of your hand which made you pause... and realize that you were crying.

Crying over a relationship that isn't working.

You sniffed and hurriedly wiped your tears and glanced over to your bag to drink some water- but it was gone. Blinking multiple times, you started to panic as you look all over the place finding your bag.

"I remember putting it in the desk..." You muttered and walked down the corridor towards your classroom. You've been walking around the school ground for some time now. "How did it disappear..."

Thinking about your bag made you forget about Baji- Your phone was in the bag and you can't just lose it, you were the one who bought that phone with your own money.

Turning a corner, your forehead got hit by something soft- probably someone's chest. You groaned and placed a hand on your head as you take a glance at the person who bumped into you.

"Sorry, I didn't saw you- Huh?" Your eyes slightly widens at the sight of the man infront of you.

Baji sighs, "You were taking so long. I had to come and get you."

The man runs his fingers through his long silky hair. After walking out of the classroom, he was waiting for you at the school's entrance for almost fifteen minutes now. He did got worried after noticing that you were taking so long to appear on his sight.

Someone was tugging at the pit of your chest. You didn't expect that the Baji Keisuke would look and find for you at this time. You tried to talk but no words would come out.

"C'mon," Baji starts to walk ahead. You stared from behind in place. It seems like your whole body is frozen as well.

The young teenager noticed you weren't trailing from behind. Baji halts and looks around, "What are you standing there for? Let's walk home together."

Butterflies starts to roam around your stomach, flying to each and every corners. What's this all about? It seems like you were crying over nothing.

The sides of your lips curves up, you skipped your way beside Baji.

You should have hopes in your relationship, no need for doubts. Put all of them in a bag and throw them all away- That's right. A bag.... Oh.

"My bag!" You jumped in realization- you were finding for your bag until Baji came over and made you forget about it.

Baji laughs- you stared at him with a lump growing on your throat. This was your first time seeing him laughing face to face.

You slightly blushed before shaking your head and lightly hit his shoulders, "What are you laughing for? Help me look for my bag."

The man beside you sighs, wiping of the tears that were forming from the corner of his eyes. "I have it, don't worry."

"Ah?" The whole time he had the bag? So, you were walking around school grounds... for nothing... "You could've told me!"

"I forgot."

"That's not an excuse!"

Let's say... from that day on. Baji would offer you to walk you back home.
