kio, with a 'will you accompany me to the winter formal' board
 i look at him and words couldn't even come out,
i say yes and he pulls away from the hug
"theres something i want to tell you" kio spats

"whats up" i say
"so..jaden... he....he was kissing mads and he was talking to his friends about how in love he is with her and how you were only a friend to him" kio says
my heart stops and i look at him blankly as a tears brim to my eyes
"he- he did" i say gulping down a ball of saliva trying to connect what he just said

i thought he said he was in love with me?....i thought he liked me, what happened, i like him very much, what...jaden

jadens POV:
i just pulled up to ask dyllan to the winter formal, i was afraid of her answer, if she still feels the same he knocks on the door and jack answers...why is-..." kio?" i say
"h-hey jaden" she weakly smiles
"hi"i say
"what do you need, cause as you can see" kio scoffs referring to...kio with a board
"jaden, do you n-" she says
i pull her favorite flowers.. tulips..purple preferably... and a teddy from behind me , she said she always wanted a winnie the pooh bear, and unfold the board that had candy and chocolates glued all over it to say 'will you go to the formal with me?' i well up with a tear 
"but i thought you said-" i point at kio and then look at jaden
jaden looks at kio and just shakes his head in anger and drops everything.
"jaden wait!" she says
i ignore her and walk into my car and drive out
"fuck fuck fuck!" i say hitting the wheel for every word i said
why....i...i-i cant....

dyllans pov:
i go out the door and he is already in his car
did he really say all that?....he couldnt have if he came to my house to ask me to the dance
i walk back inside and i look at the tulips and bear and board laying on the ground as if it was garbage
i grab the flowers and smell them
"dyllan-" kio says
"are you lying to me?" i ask him with a tear strolling down my eye.
"what no, never, i would never wanna cause you trouble" kio says engulfing me in a hug.

"can you go home now, i want to be alone" i sniff
"of course" kio kisses my head and pulls away and dabs jack up and walks out the door

"was jaden just playing with me?" i ask looking for an answer that could change everything
hoping that jack has the correct and truthful answer to everything.
"i-...i dont know....i mean...i dont see him doing that to you" he shrugs
ill take that as an answer....for now.
