Rays of sunlight glowed through the royal blue curtains, casting inches of sunlight around the large room. Two doors were placed along the far wall, leading towards the exit and bathroom. The king size bad was located in between two windows, its size looked small compared to the size of the large room. Underneath the silk royal blue and white sheets, Roxy blinked, feeling the soft comfy bed that swallowed her up and the nice texture of sheets that wrapped around her.
Blinking her eyes again to clear the fogginess of waking up, Roxy started to move when a sharp pain in her head made her moan. The pain caused tiny sparks to rupture through her temples. Taking her hand, Roxy rubbed at her temples to smooth the ache. Once the headache succeeded she pulled back the sheets, gasping when she realized she was only wearing her bra and panties.
“What the hell!”
“I could get used to this.” Trent walked in with a glass of water, amused as he openly stared at her lack of clothing.
Roxy quickly lifted the sheets up to cover her body. “Did you undress me?” She exclaimed.
“I couldn’t just leave you to be uncomfortable.” Trent placed the water on the night stand that was under the window. “If you’re wondering if I picked- then the answer is yes.” Roxy flashed annoying eyes at him, causing him to chuckle. “Now, my brothers on the other hand…”
“Please tell me they didn’t look?” Roxy groaned at the thought.
“Only a little,” Trent teased.
“I am going to kill them, right after I kill you.” Roxy hissed.
Trent placed a hand over his heart in fake hurt. “Is that how you treat your hero?”
Roxy snorted. “Please give me my cloths back.”
Trent walked over to his dresser, retrieving a long black t-shirt, handing it to Roxy. “Your cloths are being watched.”
Not saying anything, Roxy quickly put on the t-shirt, climbing out of bed. As soon as she placed her feet on the wooden floor, everything shifted, causing Roxy to fall. Before she hit the ground, Trent lifted her up in his arms, placing her back in his bed.
“I wouldn’t get out of bed just yet.” Trent replied softly.
Roxy leaned back, placing her arm over her head. “What is wrong with me?”
“You where drugged.” Trent growled out.
Roxy tilted her head, eyes wide. “What?”
“The doctor said there will be side effects and that you needed rest.”
“Who drugged me?”
“That’s not important.” Trent handed Roxy the glass of water.
“What the hell Trent, of course it’s important.” Roxy shifted so she could sip the water.
Trent motioned for her to move over so that he could set next to her. “Jake- Jake Williams.” He said his name like he was the devil himself.
“Why would he do that?”
Trent took a deep breath. “We don’t know for certain, but don’t worry he will stay away from you.” It was a promise.
