"Are you going to tell me what that was all about?" Roxy asked, wanting to know what happen earlier with her and Chris.
Megan sighed through the phone. "He is an ass."
Roxy chuckled. "I figured that."
"Tell me why I called you?" Megan muttered.
"I don't know, maybe because you wanted to talk to someone." Roxy teased.
Megan snorted. "True but I was thinking we could go to a party tonight."
"I don't know."
"Please I could really use some TLC and this party is going to be epic." Megan squealed in delight. You can practically see her eyes dancing mischievously.
"Who is throwing a party?" Roxy asked.
"Does it matter?"
Roxy could practically see Megan shrugging her shoulders. "Fine but one hour tops." Rolling her eyes Roxy declared.
"Four." Megan shot back.
"Two." Roxy retorted.
"Oh come on, don't be a party pooper."
"Fine, three hours and that's it." Roxy winced when Megan squealed in delight.
"I'll pick you up at seven thirty."
Roxy chuckled as Megan said her goodbyes as she hung up the phone.
Two hours later, Roxy closed the car door to Megan's blue Honda civic staring at the massive pile of beer bottles already lying throughout the lawn. Not to mention the cluster of people that were standing outside the house, drinking or making out. In the front lawn a marble fountain that looked to have an angel holding a flower was perched on top, looking up towards the night sky. Water spurted from the flower into the crystal blue pool beneath it, causing ripples and a shimmer effect. A couple were making out half necked, their cloths halfway on the ground. Roxy shook her head as she continued to work her way through the crowd towards the front door where loud music blared.
"I told you this was going to be epic." Megan replied happily.
"I think you forgot to mention that the whole school population is here."
Megan looked thoughtful for a second, eyes dancing with humor. "I don't think the whole school population is here."
"Megan," Roxy exclaimed rolling her eyes.
Megan laughed. "Come on," Megan grabbed Roxy by the arm pulling her inside.
The Victorian house was huge in size. It was gleamed in a deep blue color, with white painting along the window frames and porch. The house in general gave a warm calmness feeling just from the sheer look of it. The house had three floors, windows popping out every direction.
As they went inside, loud music blared, the massive living room was filled with teenagers dancing, drinking, playing games and making out.
"Megan, I wanna go home." Roxy all but hissed in her ear.
Rolling her eyes, "Don't be a baby; everything is going to be fine."
"Well, well, well." Trent crossed his arms, grinning as he walked towards them. "Welcome to my home." He winked.
Gritting her teeth and turning to glare at Megan, who somehow sneaked off, leaving her alone to deal with the putz. The traitor! Roxy hissed in her mind. "Go away, Trent." She sneered.
