The Same Reason... : Ryuuji Takasu X Reader

"HELP ME SOMEONE!?" I cried out trying to escape. "PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU!HELP ME!?" I fell to my knees and choked a sob . Why me? I heard a crashing noise , everything went black...

"GAAH!" I stood up like soldier , I had woken up in cold sweat. Panting and gripping my hair I looked around the room.It was morning , birds were chirping and the sun was as bright as ever.

My tense state was calmed down, I let out a relieved sigh. "Man I gotta stop having that dream."

~Time Skip~

Walking down the street I had a pattern of pitter patter with each step . My long y/h/c hair swinging left to right. I don't even want to start another new school again. It's gonna be a pain to meet new people. I was never a approachable person , more like the shy girl in the corner. Alas I'll have to deal with this yet again.

I signed deeply and then huffed in determination. I can do this , I can make friends with the first person I see. As I was walk, I saw a boy wearing what I thought was the boy's uniform for my school. I froze on the spot. Oh god where did all the confidence go?!

"Ano...Hello?" I squeaked out .The boy had heard my call , he turned around and walked towards me. "Did you need something ?" he asked. I could even make a sound to begin with. How are we going to be friends?

"Hey are you alright ? You seem a bit pale ." he tried to move my hair from half my face. I grabbed his wrist and gently placed it down,"Ano...please don't." God that was a close."I'm sorry , my name is Takasu Ryuuji . It's nice to met you. " I calmed down a bit with the sound of his voice. It was filled with kindness. "I'm l/n f/n , i-t's nice to me-t-t you Takasu-san."

That's how it all started , I would have never thought that Takasu would be my first love.

"Takasu!" I called out to catch up to him . He turned around and smiled , he stopped and waited for me to catch up to him."Hey f/n."I smiled widely , "Good Morning , can you believe we graduating today?"

The wind blew past us and he had his head down,he put his hands in his pockets."Yeah , it's all surreal to me. My mom wants me to go to college , just so I won't end up like her. But is it so wrong that I don't want to ? " my eyes widen at him , my mouth opened slightly.

"And you know , I think that your the only one who will understand were I'm coming from. You've been there for me , I've been there for you.I just wanted to say...I love you." I couldn't process anything . It was just me and him ,alone against the world.

"T-ta-kasu, I-" I stopped my words in that moment.My eyes never left his , "You don't have say anything now." he reaches for my left cheek, the same cheek I burned in the fire. The same reason I am as shy as I am. The same reason why I was bullied so long. The same reason I was scared to fall in love.

He placed the hair on my face past my ear. "You are beautiful, I don't care what others say. You don't need to hide anymore , and when I'm here with you ,you'll never live nor have another nightmare ever again." He stroked my cheek softly, I raised my hand up to his wrist.

I took a hold of it with both of my hands, tears welling up in my eyes. "I do understand , and I love you too." a big smile grew on both of our faces . "Together we won't be afraid."
