That first day of October made me realize that the storm was barely starting to grow...

Laying there and thinking about how I've done something wrong along the way. Maybe me feel pathetic, I was still hung up over this for a week. Why couldn't I have just hated him? I smooshed my face into my pillow and tugged on my blanket hoping it'd give me some kind of warmth.

The wish for a better tomorrow wasn't just a wish.

"Did you take drugs?" my head snapped around to my bestfriend's face. "b/f/n what the hell?!" she gave me a sharp glare almost like I was a crazed murder. "Well you just told me that he broke up with you, and since you live on that side of town. I figured you took drugs." I sighed deeply. "Seriously? Look I'm telling you the truth. He did breakup with me." the moment I looked at her eyes. I knew she wanted to kill him. The classroom door opened and there he stood.I covered my ears and sighed. "HARUKA NANASE I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"

We all sat awkwardly in the principal's office. The Principal's eyes fixed on my angry best friend. Haru looking to the side with a dull expression, holding a tissue to his bleeding nose. I sat there looking down, my hair luckily covering the shame held within me. "Alright tell me again from the beginning b/f/l/n." she huffed and immediately pointed to Haru. "Principal Kim you see this guy sitting over here." he sigh deeply and nodded. "Well this guy, broke my bestfriend's heart. Don't tell me you wouldn't want to hurt the boy who broke you daughter's heart?" he sighed yet again. "I would but shouldn't you have used words instead?" he looked at the her trying to make her feel guilty."I tried, but my raging anger overcame me. I'm glad I did." she smirked pridefully. I wanted to slap her, but I love her too much. "Well seeing this is your first offence I'll let it slide. But next time a week of detention, okay?" she smiled and grabbed my hand. We walked out leaving Haru sitting there and watching the outside world.

I stood outside watching the students flood out of the school. The rain came pouring down unexpectedly. I stand there watching it fall, and wait for it to die down. I sighed for what seemed the 100th time today.

"Ah l/n what are you still doing standing there?" I turned around and Makoto stood there looking worried. "Oh I'm just waiting for the rain to die down." He walks over to me. "How about I walk you home?" I looked up at him with dumbfounded expression. He pulled out a big umbrella and smiled at me. My heart couldn't help but skip a beat. I smiled at him and nodded, "Thanks, let's go?" I held out my hand acting like a man. He simply laughed lightly and we walked off in the rain.
