The Little Things : Anime Oneshots

25 Cents Each- Subaru Yagi X Reader

He was just to cute not make a oneshot out of, let's forget about Akane for a while (you would know her from the manga) (does this make it a manga oneshot? XD idk) Enjoy!

Subaru headed over to l/n's apartment, he was fidgety and obviously nervous about the fact that she has invited him over. He started playing around with the plastic bag that was in between his hands. Inside the bag was a small surprise for his childhood friend.

When he finally reached her apartment door he took a deep breath, "I hope she likes it..." he knocks softly on the door.

I hear a soft knock on the door, finishing the bite I took from my food I gulp it down and walk over to the door.

Opening it slightly, Subaru stands there with a blushed face. To my surprise he actually came over, I wonder if his sister made him come over? I shake my head, "Oh hey Subaru, do you wanna um come in?"

He simply nodded and taking a step back letting him in, "I wasn't really expecting any company, so I'm sorry if my place is a bit off a mess." I rub the back of my neck and shrug. Closing the door I turn around to find him standing there with a sparkle in his eyes.

A smile then appears on his face, "It's not messy at all, it's fine." thump. Why is his smile so cute? I cough trying to escape my mindset, he takes a seat on the couch and looks around with curiosity. His mouth is slightly open and his eyes are wide, burning with interest. He looks like a little kid going to the zoo for the first time.

Wait did I just compare my apartment to a zoo? Mentally face palming myself I sit next to him, "So um Subaru what's in that bag?" snapping out of his trance his eyes widen and a blush appears on his face. "W-well it's nothing really. B-but it's just something I got for you." He keeps his head down and places the bag on my lap.

My interest sparked and I carefully reaching inside the bag, inside I found the small toys you get for 25 cents each. I reach in and grabbed on, opening it I clearly remember this series. "I remember when we were little you would alway like to get these on our way home."

I was always 3 years older than Subaru, so he would call me his older sister. I would walk us to school in the mornings and in afternoons walk us back...

"Hey Subaru! Look they have a new series of toys!" I held his hand in mine skipping over to the dispensers. My eyes sparkled when I saw how cute the plushes were, "One-chan do you like these?" I turned to him nodding with a wide smile on my face. "My mom would give me a single quarter to get which ever I wanted! There's so many and you never know what you'll get! It's like Christmas ever time I get one!" Subaru reaches into his pocket and in his hand is a quarter."Here you can have this so that you can get the one you want one-chan." He smiles. I awh in how cute he is. "Hey Subaru you can pick on and I'll give it to you. I can just get one when mom gives me change!" He then looks around and points at that new series of plushes that came out. "I want this one!"

That day he and I had something to share throughout our childhood.

"Subaru you remembered?" He looked up and with a closed eye smile said, "Of course I would remember the thing that the one I love likes!" He blurted out. He then realized what he said and covered his mouth, his face turned into a ripe apple.  I looked at him with shock, but then it soften into a loving expression. Placing his hands away from his face and wrapping them with mine I placed a peck on his cheek. "Thank you."

Was that cute? Idk, but I'm going to the beach guys! Finally after a year of waiting! Same goes for teen wolf xD Updates will be a little slow due to the fact I babysit most of the time, sorry. School starts soon... High school better be prepared for my daily shenanigans!
