The Good, The Bad, and The Ex

I met him on his worst day...

"Gou are you in here?" I knocked the door. When I knocked it creaked open, it was dark and you could see a shadow sitting in the corner. My heart raced, I walked slowly towards it. Once I was close enough I reached my hand out to touch the mysterious figure. It was shaking, I reluctantly pulled back my hand. Letting out a quiet, almost unheard sob, I sighed and touched its head. Stroking the soft locks, I sat down next to the figure.

I rested my head on its shoulder, "It would be stupid to ask if you're alright. But you'll be fine, you just let it out. Scream, sob and cry all you want. You'll need to do that now. Or you'll do it everyday later." I hugged the shivering figure. As the figure stopped shivering, it hugged me tightly and let out a sob into my shoulder. "Sorry I never properly introduced myself. I'm l/n f/n."

He sniffled and then said in a weak voice, "I-I'm Ri-n Matsuka."
