Here's a surprise continuation to 'A Letter To My Lover'. It's more of an alternative ending, but enjoy!

It's been 3 years since he'd read the note that destroyed the world beneath his feet. It's been a very cold winter so far, Kuroko let's out deep breath and rubs his cold hands together.

The icy winter wind blows through his baby blue hair, making him even more numb than before. While walking he stopped at a place where his heart still lingered, a small book store.

Not many people visited this place anymore, it had no 'indoor coffee shop'. No Kindles in a nice shelf at the front, just a couple of tables and shelves filled with all sorts of creativity. And all for half the price. (I like Barnes and Nobles/Half-Priced Books, but this book store isn't either xD ) The rival store had much more business, so it didn't have much money to make the place better looking. But it was the exact reason why he and her loved it.

He took a deep breath and pulled out his pale hands to reach out for the door. When he try grabbing for the handle it seemed to get father away, eyes widening he tried to reach for it again. It got even further, he started running towards it. No advil, it kept moving away. "Sir?" He was still running, "Excuse me." he ignored the voice and tried to catch up to the door. Then a hand was placed upon his shoulder, "Excuse me sir, but are you alright?" he was sent flying back to reality.

He was shaking and with his hand still stretched out to open the door, he'd realize he was hallucinating. Wait, i-it was never moving away? It just stayed in place while I was the one who never grabbed it? A small giggle was heard behind him, "I think the door was a push instead of a pull." he turned around to face the person who pulled him back to reality.

It was her.

He couldn't believe what was before him at that moment. She was more beautiful than he could remember, those silky h/c locks, that cute smile , porcelain soft skin with her cheeks slightly blushed with an alluring tint of pink mixed with red. And those eyes, those damned glittering eyes. A wave of pain surged throughout his body, he gulped the built up emotions. "O-oh sorry, go right ahead." maintaining a poker face he opened the door for her.

She sent him a small thank-you smile, striking a cord hidden deep in the violin of his heart. Both entering they sighed from the chilly wind, "I remember coming here all the time when I was younger." she lovingly gazed at the books and all its glory. Turning to him, "It's been a while huh Kuroko-kun?" she spoke maintaining her gentle smile.

It was like a mystery, why on earth is she speaking so kindly to him? Why is she coming back to a place that can open her wounds she tried so hard to heal? Why is she even speaking to me? "It has." he spoke calmly while inside he was breaking down. "Let's take a seat an enjoy a nice book with some tea?" he nodded hesitantly.
.............................................................

"Mmm." she hummed while taking a sniff at the hot lemon tea. "It's nice and warm, thank god Mr.Ken had a spare tea set." she took a sip and placed the tea cup down. Kuroko hadn't touched his cup yet, he'd suddenly lost his appetite. "Kuro-". "Why are you being so kind to me?" he cut her off, "Because I've always been kind." she replied calmly and took a sip of her tea. "Y/n-chan..." he barely made out.

"Yes Kuroko-kun?" he looked directly at her eyes. His heart skipped a beat, "Y/n-chan, can you please love me again?"

Her eye's widened and she almost dropped her tea cup, "K-kuroko-kun." her smile dropped, she lowered her head. "You know I can't just do that right?". He just kept looking at her, what had happen in the last couple of years? What had he done to rid himself of his fallen angel?

You hurt her heart.

"I guess you wouldn't simply give up would you? After all you were my phantom prince..." his eyes began to water. "Y/n-chan...T-there's many definitions for cold...but I b-believe that I... suffer from the severest case." he stood up from his seat.

"Kuroko, you never let me finish my sentence. You were my phantom prince and still are." looking up her eyes stained with tears and running emotions.

" Okaerinasai Phantom Prince."
