My alarm went off and I slowly got out of bed. I took a shower, got dressed, did my makeup, and did my hair. I decided to wear a SnapBack today.

When I was walking to the bus, I heard Iris call my name. She had the project with her. "Hi!" She said. "Hi," I replied with a smile. She complimented my hair and I thanked her. I told her that I was going to sit with Crawford. "He likes you. Like, really likes you!" I smiled and went to sit next to him.

"Hi!" I said to Crawford. "Hello!" he smiled.

Iris caught up to me when we got off of the bus. "I'm going to sign up for that dance club. You should do it with me!" she said. "Ok," I said. We wrote our names on the sign up sheet. Today was the last day to sign up and it starts tomorrow. We went our separate ways to our lockers.

"Hello there," I hear from behind me. Derek. "What do you want," I said weakly. He tried to hit me but I ducked and he missed. I ran away.

I found Crawford and hugged him. "Derek makes my life hell," I cried on his shoulder. Good thing my makeup is waterproof. "I hate him. Listen, I'm going to start walking to your locker with you," he said. I nodded and wiped the tears off of my face.

After school, I got a text from an unknown number it read: "Don't think your little boyfriend will stop me." I started crying. I couldn't breath. I was having a panic attack.

Crawford walked through my door. "Indigo!" He ran to me and sat next to me. He put me on his lap and hugged me. "Breathe," he whispered. I kept taking deep breaths. My breathing slowly came back.

I hugged him and didn't let go for a long time. "Thank you," I said softly. "What happened?" he asked. I showed him my phone. "Derek. I swear, I'll kill him," he said. We sat there in silence. All I could think about is that text. "Hey, I know what you're thinking about. I won't let anything happen to you," he hugged me. I pulled away and looked at him. I started leaning in. He started leaning in too. I connected our lips. We kissed for a while. I felt the butterflies in my stomach. I finally pulled away. "I'm sorry," I said. "Don't be," he said. "I love you," I whispered. I'm falling for this boy. "Indigo, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked. "Yes," I said. I started smiling. He hugged me and kissed me.
