I couldn't believe it. What would he be doing here? Why does he want to see me?

"JAKE? What are you doing here?" I was so shocked to see him.

"I came here to see you. I need to talk to you," he said.

"I'll give you two alone time," my mom said and walked away.

"I need to tell you something," he looked nervous for some reason.

"Ok what is it?"

"Well, I broke up with my girlfriend..."

"And?" I hope this isn't going where I think its going.

"I like you, Indigo," he started blushing. Welp, so much for not going there.

This cannot be happening. I made up a lie about him that he doesn't even know about and he likes me.

"I have a boyfriend," I say suddenly. "I'm sorry."

I could see sadness in his eyes. "Right...friends?"

"Yes," I say and pull him in for a hug.

After Jake left, I ran to Crawford's house. I barged into the living room.

"Crawford I need to talk to you," I say.

"Ok, what is it?" He asked.

"So um, guess who the person was."

"I don't know? Who?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Jake," I tell him. His mouth dropped open. "and he told me something.." I added.

"What is it?"

"He likes me," I say nervously. I bite my lip.

"Did he um, make a move on you?" He asks, getting nervous himself. I shook my head.

"I told him about you and said that we can still be friends. I hugged him and then that was it," I say.

"Oh, ok good," he said. He still looked kind of upset. I hope he's not upset with me. After all it's not my fault...is it? All of this is confusing.

I went back home and just watched tv.

I got upset when Indigo told me about Jake. I hope he doesn't try to make a move on her.

My phone started ringing, scaring me because I wasn't expecting it. I slid the answer dot across the screen.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey! Its Jake. I was wondering if you want to go to the beach tomorrow around 4:00. You can bring your boyfriend too if you want," he suggested. I think its a good idea. This way I can show Crawford that I don't have feelings for Jake and that we are just friends!

"Sounds great! See you then," I said, before we both said goodbye and hung up.

When I woke up, I took a quick shower and got dressed. I put my black bikini on and put a floral romper over it. This way I don't have to change after school because I'm lazy. After that I grabbed a bag and put a towel and some sunscreen because I'm already pretty dark naturally. Kind of like Cameron. When I finished I left the bag on the bed, put my hair in a bun, and grabbed my sunglasses before putting on sandals and walking out the door.

"Bye mom!" I yelled. She didn't say anything but gave me a small 'mhm'.

School was very boring today. Since Crawford and I are going to miss the last 2 weeks of school we went ahead and started our exams.

As soon as I got home, I grabbed my bag and headed over to Crawford's house.

"Hey," I said, giving him a kiss.

"Hey...whats up with the beach bag?" He asked.

"We are going to the beach! Now get your stuff and put on your trunks and lets go!" I told him. He ran upstairs to go get his stuff so I just hung out with Karisma while I waited. After about 5 minutes, he was ready.

"Let's go!" he said, giving me a kiss on my cheek. I nodded and we left his house. He started walking to his car but stopped when he saw me continuing to walk.

"Do you not want to drive?" he questioned.

"No! Its beautiful out!" I said. He shrugged and we continued walking.

OMG three months later I finally update. I've been super busy so I apologize but if this chapter seems short. I just really wanted to get something published.
