I woke up late so I had to hustle my ass if I wanted to make it to the bus. I didn't have time to put on makeup. I'm going to get bullied so badly today. I put on a purple sweater and put on some skinny jeans. I pulled my hair up and put on my shoes. I ran out the door with my school bag barely hanging on to me.

The bus pulled up right when I got to the bus stop. I hung my head down so hopefully no one will notice my hideous face. I sat in the back. expecting me to be alone, I looked out the window. But when my head, I found a smiling Crawford.

"Hello Beautiful!" he said. I looked down and covered my face. "Don't look at my face. I was running late and didn't have time to put on makeup," I told him. He pulled my hands off of my face and lifted my head up. "You look absolutely perfect. Trust me," he reassured me.

"Can I ask you something?" "Sure," he said. "Why all of a sudden have you been sitting with me and riding this bus?" I asked. "I recently moved to a neighborhood close to here," he explained.

Derek wasn't at school today so I got a break from him. It's been a good day besides everyone giving me dirty looks. Oh well. I'm just happy Derek isn't here.

In science, Mr. Rivers paired me up with this really nice girl named Iris. Apparently she's new. She had long, brown hair. I wish my hair was that long.

"So, do you want to meet up at my house after school for the project?" she asked. "Sure!" I smiled. I walked off to lunch.

I don't eat school lunch. Its gross. I found an empty table and sat down. Crawford walked over to my table. "Hi!" he said. "Hi," I replied. "How is your day so far?" he questioned. "Good since Derek isn't here," I told him. He nodded.

"Indigo?" asked Crawford. "Yes?" I asked, turning to look at him. "Yesterday before you left you looked like you were going to say something. You can tell me now," he suggested. "It's nothing," I said to him. "Are you sure?" he asked. "Yep I'm sure. It's fine don't worry about it."
