Peter Barton was Spider-man. Yes, you read correctly. Peter Barton, the twin brother of Cooper Barton, the son of Hawkeye- was Spiderman.

So what happens when the adorable cinnamon roll gets found out by his brother

"Uh hi?" Peter was crouched on the ceiling, in a suit. The Spiderman suit!

"Hi Peter. Umm..so you're Spiderman?" Cooper honestly didn't know what to say. His scrawny, helpless, bullied, nerdy twin-brother was Spiderman. Shot on a regular basis with super-strength and powers Spiderman.

"Yeah, you won't rat me out will you?" Peter asked earnestly.

"Uh" Cooper gulped, "Only if you promise not to get hurt too badly. And if you do...get help."

Peter sagged in relief, "Thanks. I promise." The atmosphere was slightly awkward now.

"Do you have any cool stories?"

Peter perked up immediately, "Yeah, so one day there was this.."

A/N: So I just realised what I wrote is completely different from the request so...oops. Also I did a shit job writing this chapter.

10 year old Cooper Barton was angry, specifically at his twin brother. "Why did you have to do that. Now I'm known as the nerd's brother!"

"I wanted to talk to you. You wanted to sit with your athletic friends. You sit with Flash and his gang of bullies! Why can't you sit with me and my friends?" Peter Barton rebutted.

Both the boys were jealous of each other. Cooper was jealous of Peter's brain and Peter was jealous of Cooper's brawn. Peter didn't want Cooper to socialise with bullies and Cooper didn't want to hang out with the designated losers.

"You know what? You can go and hang out with your loser friends and be a loser all you want. I am not going to talk with losers." Cooper sneered at his brother.

Hurt flashed across Peter's face as he said, "Well as of now, I don't care if you don't talk to me. Whats next? Are you going to bully me with your friends?"

"Fine." Cooper turned and walked faster towards the house, tears forming in his eyes.

Both the boys were hurt by one another. Both of them regretted the things that they said. Neither of them were brave enough to apologise.

This went on for a week before it became unbearable. The twins fit like puzzle pieces and they missed each other. The whole week they tried to work up the courage to apologise to one another. But every single time they backtracked, scared that they would be rejected.

One day, their parents had sent the two to do chores in the barn. It was extremely awkward.

"I'm sorry, okay."

Both of them looked at each other, surprised.

"I want to-"

"Let me just-"

Small smiles formed on their faces. Cooper sighed, "Look Pete, what I said was stupid. Forgive me?"

"I should be asking for your forgiveness. I was very rude." Peter mumbled, fiddling with his sleeves.

Cooper stuck out his hand, "It's fine. Truce?"

"Truce." Peter shook Cooper's hand.

And if certain parents had paired them together on purpose, well no-one has to know.
