Chapter 3

Tyler’s POV

I woke up and saw Lily’s face buried in my chest holding me tightly. I smiled and kissed her head. She is finally mine. She is my girlfriend. This better not be a dream. I looked at my phone and saw a missed called from my dad. I climbed out of bed without waking Lily and headed into the bathroom. I peed and called my dad back. “Hey buddy.” He said. “Hi dad, are you almost home?” I asked. “About that, the bus broke down so we will hopefully be back tomorrow.” He said. I sighed. “I know I miss you too bud.” He said. “I just wanted to tell you something.” I said. “Tell me now. What’s up?” he asked. “I finally told her.” I said. “And?” my dad asked excited. “What do you think?” I asked sarcastically. “GUYS, TYLER AND LILY ARE DATING!” I heard my dad yell to all my uncles. I heard them all cheering. I smiled. “I am so proud of you son. Now no babies until you are in your late twenties and married.” He said. “I know dad.” I said. “I love you bud. See you soon. Tell your mom I love her.” He said. “I love you too dad. And it is not like you don’t tell her every day.” I said. He laughed. “I know. Bye.” He said. I hung up and headed back to Lily. I climbed back in and she clung right back to my side. “Where did you go?” she asked sleepily. “I went to pee and call my dad back.” I said. “Where is he? I miss my uncle Andy.” She said. “The bus broke down so hopefully they will be back tomorrow.” I said. She sighed and I held her close rubbing her back. “Breakfast?” I asked. She nodded holding out her arms. I scooped her up and headed downstairs. “Tyler, don’t spoil her now. Soon you will be doing that every day.” Dahvie said. “I don’t mind.” I said kissing Lily. She blushed and her grandpas awed at us. “Well at least I don’t have to worry about him acting like Ash before he met Autumn.” Dahvie said. I looked at him confused. “Ask your parents.” He said. I nodded and set Lily down in a seat then sat next to her. Dahvie handed us breakfast. “Where is my coffee?” Lily asked. “Well I was thinking you should cut back.” Dahvie said. Lily gasped and clutched her chest. “That is child abuse. Mom would agree.” She said then got sad after mentioning her mom. I kissed her cheek and rubbed her back. Dahvie handed her a cup. “I love you Lilypad.” He said kissing her head. “I love you too daddy.” She said. We ate breakfast and I went back to thinking of first date ideas for Lily and I. Lily headed upstairs to shower and I helped with dishes. “Hey Dahvie, I was thinking of taking Lily out for a first date tonight and I was thinking of taking her out to dinner then see Blink-182.” I said. He stopped what he was doing and got a little teary. “That was Andrea and I’s first date. Lily will love it.” He said. I smiled. “I miss her too.” I said. He smiled and hugged me. “I am gonna say goodbye and go get ready for tonight.” I said. He nodded and I ran upstairs. “Babe, I am going home. I want to take you out for our first date tonight. I love you and I will see you later. Wear something nice.” I said yelling into her shower. “Okay, I love you too.” She said. I grabbed my bag and walked the short distance home. My mom ran over to me tackling me to the ground hugging me. “I knew you could do it.” She squealed. “Dad?” I asked. She nodded and kissed my cheek. I stood up and helped her up. “Where’s Lace?” I asked. “Still asleep.” She said. I smiled and ran up to her room jumping on her bed tickling her. She squealed. “Stop it Ty.” She screamed. I stopped and hugged her. “I missed you last night.” I said hugging her. “I missed you too.” She said hugging me with her little arms. “Hey daddy is going to be home tomorrow.” I said. She smiled. She is such a daddy’s girl. I am surprised she gets as much sleep as she does without our dad here. “I am going to take a shower and after that how about we watch your favorite movie.” I said. She nodded and pushed me to my bathroom. I laughed and headed to shower. I took a quick shower and put on some sweatpants. I laid out the outfit I wanted to wear tonight and went to buy the concert tickets from the venue. I came back home and placed them on the table with my wallet. “Can we please watch Cinderella now?” Lacey whined. “Yes princess Lacey.” I said. She giggled and I put on the movie. She climbed on the couch next to me and rested her head on me. I smiled and rubbed her back. I hate knowing the feeling that I have to leave her in two years for college. I love her. She is the best sister in the world. We finished watching Cinderella and Lacey was saying I should go buy flowers for Lily. I told her I would because I like making her happy. I went up to my room and got dressed. I fixed my hair and pulled on my black skinnies and my black button up shirt. I put on my black vans and walked downstairs. “You look so handsome.” My mom said. I smiled and hugged her. I placed the tickets in my wallet and slipped my wallet in my back pocket. “Bye mom.” I said kissing her cheek. “Bye.” She said. Lacey hugged me too and I walked over to Lily’s. I stopped and got her a bouquet of Lilies. I made my way up the steps and saw Jayy and Jeffree looking out the window like little kids. I laughed and rang the doorbell. Dahvie answered the door. “I never thought I would see the day.” He said. I smiled and I walked in. “Be safe tonight. Have fun but not too much fun.” He said. I nodded and Lily came walking down the stairs. My jaw dropped. She was gorgeous. “These are for you.” I said stuttering. She blushed. “Thank you.” She said taking them. I pulled one out and put it in her curled hair. She blushed more. She put the flowers in a vase. “Bye daddy.” She said. He waved goodbye and as we walked out the taxi arrived. Well it is a Mercedes. I helped her in and we were off to the restaurant. I hope she enjoys tonight.

Lily’s POV
I sat in the bathroom curling my hair with my barrel curler. I finished my hair and did my makeup. I into my closet not knowing what to wear tonight. “Dad, is grandpa Jeffree here?” I yelled down. “Yes!” He yelled. “I need him.” I said. Grandpa Jeffree ran into my room. “Say no more. I will find the perfect dress.” He said running into the closet. I chuckled and sat on my bed. He threw clothes at me. “Put it on.” He said. I nodded and stripped out of my clothes. I pulled on the clothing he gave me and smiled. He threw me my white converse. I slipped them on and tied them. “Now use this purse and put on this necklace.” He said handing them to me. “Thanks Grandpa.” I said hugging him. “Not a problem Lilypad.” He said kissing my head. I put the necklace on then put my wallet and things from my purse into the one my grandpa gave me. I headed downstairs and there was Tyler. His jaw dropped and I blushed. “These are for you.” He said stuttering. I blushed again. “Thank you.” I said taking them. He pulled one out and put it in my curled hair. I blushed more. I put the flowers in a vase. “Bye daddy.” I said. He waved goodbye and as we walked out the Mercedes that pulled up. He helped me in and we were off to what he had planned for tonight. I know I will enjoy tonight just because I am with him. He helped me out of the car and we showed up at a cute little restaurant. He pulled out my chair and I took a seat. “Tyler, you didn’t have to go to all this trouble.” I said. “I wanted to. I want to show you how much you mean to me.” He said holding my hand. I smiled. We ordered dinner and it came quite quickly. “This is so good.” I said. He smiled. “I am glad you are enjoying it.” He said. I smiled. “The night is still young so after this I have a surprise for you.” He said. I got excited. We finished eating and headed back to the Mercedes. We were driving and Tyler blindfolded me. “What are you doing?” I giggled. “You shall see.” He said. He held my hand and led me out of the car. I heard screaming and he pulled off the blindfold. “BLINK-182!” I squealed. He laughed and nodded. I basically pulled him into the venue. We made it to the front and he laughed. “I knew this would make you happy.” He said wrapping his arms around me. The concert was a blast and it was almost over. I missed them. I haven’t seen them since I turned ten. “Hey everybody, we have some family in the house tonight. My favorite niece is here and I heard she has finally gotten together with this handsome man.” Mark said. I glared at him as he pointed at me. I shook my head no put Travis pulled me up onto the stage. Tyler followed. “I hate you all.” I said burying my face into Tyler’s chest. “Guys, since this is their first date I say we play a special song.” Matt said. The crowd cheered. “Did you plan this?” I asked Tyler. He shook his head no. They played First Date and Tyler and I sang along. The concert was over and we hung out with the guys a bit. “I had so much fun tonight Tyler.” I said as we pulled up to my house. We climbed out and began walking to my door. “I’m glad.” He said as we stopped at the door. “Lily, I have wanted to ask you out for the longest time and now that I finally have. I am so stupid for not having asked you years ago.” He said. I leaned up and kissed him. He kissed me back. I started to walk inside but he didn’t follow. “Aren’t you coming?” I asked. “Another time. Goodnight Lillian.” He said. “Goodnight Tyler.” I said. He smiled and walked home. I headed up to bed and cuddled up with Tattoo.

Dahvie’s POV

I secretly went to the concert leaving Lucas and Robin at home to order out food and watch movies together since they really can’t go out with Lucas being in the state he is. I stayed towards the back and texted Mark that Lily was here for her first date. He said he would make magic happen. I just laughed because I knew what he was probably going to do. I recorded the whole concert and headed home. Lily and Tyler are the cutest. He is such a good kid. I am finally glad he finally asked Lily out. I changed into my PJs and climbed into bed. I was woken up an hour later by arms wrapping around my body. “I’m home.” I heard. “I’ve missed you. Did you enjoy yourself?” I asked. I felt their face nodding into my back. I turned around and wrapped my arms around her. “I really did miss you.” I said. “I wasn’t gone long.” She said. “It felt like an eternity.” I said kissing her head. She cuddled into me and climbed out of bed probably to put on PJs. I fell asleep before she returned.
