Love Never Cheats

Chapter 1

Shivaay's Pov

I was sleeping peacefully when sunrays fell on my face making me groan. I turned my face to the other side and slept again covering my face from pillow.

"Shiv wake up. You will get late!" I heard my friend Ritik shouting.

Ritik is my best friend from childhood. We are like two brothers who knows everything about each other. We both share a flat. He and his family has always been there for me after my parents death. Being the only child of my parents, I was all alone after their accident when Ritik's family took me with them. They have always loved me just like they love Ritik.

"Shiv!!!!" He shouted again.

Can't I sleep peacefully for a day? Yeah I love my job of CBI officer but I also love my slumber. Anyways let's wake up now or I'll really get late. I got fresh and moved downstairs where I saw Ritik talking to Diya.

Divya is our neighbour and also girlfriend of Ritik. She's a really sweet girl and like a sister to me. I am really happy that my idiot friend has chosen a good girl instead of any typical one. She brings food for us everyday and strictly told us not to cook ourselves.

I was about to speak up when I saw them leaning towards each other. I cleared my throat before waiting for the next thing to happen. They looked towards me and quickly pulled away from each other. Ritik glared at me while I whispered looking at him "it's hall" and he rolled his eyes.

"Good morning Shiv" Divya greeted me.

"Good morning Div" I said smirking at Ritik because he doesn't like me calling her Div as it is his personal name for her.

Divya set up breakfast for us and we three ate together. After breakfast, I and Ritik went to the CBI office and Divya went back to her house.

As soon as we entered the office. I was engulfed into a hug by my senior Mr. Prashant Dubey. I composed myself and hugged him back.

"Congrats Mr. Oberoi! You really did a great job by revealing the real identity of the drugs gang in front of the whole world. I'm really proud of you. If wouldn't have happened without a brave officer like you." Mr. Dubey exclaimed.

"Thank you sir. It is my duty to serve the nation." I smiled, Mr. Dubey nodded and left.

I was walking to Ritik's office to discuss about something with him while I bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry, I hope you are okay" I said looking at the person. She was a girl wearing a black mask. Only her eyes were visible to me. She was looking down.

"Yes I'm fine. Even I'm sorry." I heard her voice and she left without even giving a glance to me.

I shrugged and went to Ritik's office and started discussing something.

Tanya's Pov

I was walking into the CBI office while I bumped into someone. I didn't knew who it was and I didn't wanted the person to doubt on me that's why I just left without even looking at him. I went towards the main power supply room of the CBI office. I hid behind a wall when I saw a security guard present there.

I threw a stone behind him and when he looked back, I went to him and kept my handkerchief of his mouth which had chloroform. He fainted and I entered the room. I first thought to switch off the power button but then I cut the wires so that it would take some time to set up again. Now all the electric appliances were off.

I walked out of the room and sneaked into the room of the CBI office where all the files were kept. I switched on the torch of my phone and started searching all the files. It is a great opportunity for me to do this work and I can't lose it. I looked into 5-6 files by now but couldn't find what I wanted to. I heard someone talking outside the room so I hurriedly kept the files in their places and and jumped out of the window as there was no other place in the room to hide.

I groaned thinking that I lost this chance also. I went back to our underground world.
