I woke up that morning before my alarm. It was an understatement to say I was excited. Before we went to meet the puppy we were going to get things that we needed.

I got changed, brushed my teeth, and hair all before Maddie was awake. I let her sleep in but when the alarm went off and she wasn't up I dragged her out of bed. "Get up!" I yelled grabbing her foot and dragging her onto the floor. "What the hell!" She yelled as she hit the floor.

My bedroom was carpeted so I wasn't worried about her getting hurt. "Puppy day!" I yelled in Maddie's face. "Okay." She said getting up off the floor. "I need my camera." I said running downstairs. I picked up my camera and started the recording.

"Hello everyone. Today I am getting a puppy." I said throwing my hands up in the air. "I was up before my alarm but Maddie wasn't so I pulled her out of bed." I said walking upstairs. I walked into the bathroom to find Mads brushing her teeth. "Look at her." I said turning the camera around and showing her, the camera, and me in the mirror.

"Get out!" She yelled shoving me. "Its my bathroom." I said fighting back. "Go do your meds." She said pushing me out and closing the door. "Okay, so I have to take my meds but I will be right back." I said looking in the camera lense. I placed my camera down on my desk and then went downstairs and did my insulin and took my meds.

I went back upstairs and started the recording again. "I'm done." I said smiling. "The drive to the place is about 30 minutes but good for you guys you don't have to wait that long." I said sitting on my bed. "We have to go shopping before we go get the puppy so someone better hurry up." I said yelling the last part.

"Okay." Maddie said walking into my room, "I'm ready." "Great lets go." I said standing up. I ran downstairs and when Maddie came downstairs I threw her keys at her. I went outside and stood by the passenger door. Maddie came outside and unlocked the doors.

We drove to the pet store and picked up some stuff. We got a cage, a bed, food bowls, food, a collar, a leash, and some toys. I recorded in the store the whole time and then recorded when I got in the car. "What are you going to name him?" Maddie asked looking over at me.

"Do you remember Rico?" I asked looking over at Maddie who nodded. "Okay so when I was younger I had a dog I named Rico but sadly he passed away when I was 16 years old. In memory of  Rico this puppy is going to be named Rj. Short for Rico Junior." I said looking between Maddie and the camera.

"Cute." Maddie said focused on the road. We drove to the house where the dogs were at. As we got closer and the estimate arrival time got shorter I was more and more excited. We pulled up to the house and I put on my backpack and grabbed the camera.

"Okay guys so we're here. I'm going to ask if she is okay with being filmed but if not I will update you when we are done." I said holding up the camera and giving it a thumbs up. We walked up to the house and rang the doorbell. A young looking women walked up to the door and opened it. "Hello!" She said with a smile.

"Hello." I said with a laugh. "Come in. I'm Jen." She said opening the door wider and letting us in. "I'm Madelyn and this is Ollie. I'm the one you spoke to over the phone." Maddie said shaking the lady's hand. "Ah yes I remember. You wanted the runt correct?" She asked looking over Maddie.

"Oh not me. This will be Ollie's dog." She said pointing over to me. "Yep, my dog. Also are you okay with me recording?" I asked holding up the camera. "Yeah. Is it for YouTube?" She asked with a laugh. "Yep." I said looking up from the camera.

"Cool. What is your channel?" She asked pulling out her phone. "Ollie underscore olive." I said smiling at her. "Okay, wow you have a lot of subscribers." She said looking up at me. "Yeah." I said looking down at my shoes.
