I can't believe this is the last chapter of Navigating Hermes before the Epilogue! While Apollo's Prophecy will always me my #1, this is the book where I feel like I really made a connection with you and had so much fun interacting with you. Since there's going to be a few months of a break between this book ending and Book Three starting, let me know if there are any scenarios you'd like to see as extra content that I can post for book's one and two! Any situations you've ever wanted to see in a one-shot format? Do you want to see Danika's full experience of finding out about and announcing her pregnancy? The twins' first Christmas in Canada? Danika, Apollo and their godly friends dressing up as themselves for Halloween and attending a university house party? Let me know what you want to see and I'll try to write all of them during the next few months whenever I have free time to surprise you with extra content.

For now, I hope you enjoy the last chapter of Navigating Hermes and come back next week for the Epilogue ❤️ - Amy

In only a few hours, Julie and Hermes had been on each and every roller coaster in the park that was suited for adults, some more than once. They ate cotton candy and fries for lunch, but after a while Julie was hungry again so Hermes transported them to Rome for some gelato and then straight to a quiet park near Julie's home back in Auckland.

"I think this is what I've missed most about you," Julie joked after swallowing several bites of her gelato.

Hermes laughed. "You know Danika could always bring you to Rome."

Julie shook her head. "I'm not a fan of her transporting me. All the gods I've met said she's a quick learner, but the rest of you have at least one thousand years on her so I don't do it unless it's necessary like last week."

Hermes laughed again. "Well I'm glad that you enjoy my services," he said before he raised a brow. "Why did she transport you last week?"

At that moment Julie realized that Danika hadn't made Hermes aware of every detail regarding her confrontation with Hypnos. "I didn't drive myself when I confronted Hypnos and I was so done with everything that day that I allowed her to transport us both back to my place."

"Right," Hermes nodded, appearing uncomfortable. "She showed up before he could hurt you."

"So she did tell you what happened," Julie nodded, avoiding eye-contact as she took another bite from her gelato.

Hermes sighed. "No, she didn't. I paid our friend Hypnos a visit in the underworld once it was confirmed that he couldn't leave his area. Let's just say I didn't go there with the intention of kicking his ass, but that changed once he told me you were lucky that Danika had shown up at the right time."

"Oh," Julie frowned, but looked back up at Hermes. "You didn't have to do that for me."

Hermes let out a breath of laughter. "Believe me, it wasn't just for you. That prick had it coming and it was very satisfying."

Julie felt herself smile at the god, who mirrored her expression and in a comfortable silence, they finished their desserts. When they finished, Hermes collected the cups and threw them out. He smiled at Julie when he walked back to the bench, but it faltered once he sat down. "I think it's time we started talking about everything."

Julie's smile also dropped before she let out a deep sigh. "Ok. I'll try my best to not interrupt."

Hermes nodded. "I appreciate it." He looked as if he was thinking of what to say. "I don't even know where to start. I guess the wedding would be a good place."
