I miss you

That same night, Light and Ryuzaki send their best colleagues to investigate and find the two teenage boys and the five men.

But they can't find anything or anyone.

They don't get it.

And that night Near and Linda don't sleep at all either.

The days that follow are full of gloom and sadness in the Whammys house.

One afternoon Linda and  Daisy stand in front of Near's bedroom door crying and ask him to come out.

Which he cryingly refuses.

Linda makes a fist of her right hand and slams it on his bedroom door and starts to cry louder.

 Daisy  puts an arm over her comfortingly: "Near...we share our grief...we don't cry alone" she sniffles.

 Daisy  looks at her and also has tears in her eyes and rubs her shoulder.

But no answer comes from Near.

That evening, when it's time for dinner, Ryuzaki knocks on Near's bedroom door.

"Near darling...the food is ready...it's your favorite!...mashed potatoes with applesauce!". And then he knocks on his door again: "Are you coming sweetie?".

"I don't need any food!" he hears Near sobbing.

"Near...please get out of your room so I can comfort you."

"No go away!".

"But darling"....

Light, standing next to him, puts an arm around him comfortingly and looks at him: "Leave him for a while sweetheart".

Ryuzaki swallows a big lump in his throat and lets out a deep sigh. Light pulls him down.

"I don't get it Light...it seems like those five men and Matt and Mihael have disappeared from the face of the earth".

Light takes a deep breath and pats his hair comfortingly and gives him a soft kiss on the forehead: "I promise you Ryuzaki we'll find Matt and Mihael soon...and they'll be safe...and everything will be back to normal." .

Ryuzaki smiles at him and kisses him on his lips: "I love you".

"I love you too".

Two years pass.....
Mihael and Matt are trapped in a lumberjack's cottage in the middle of the dense forest where they live with the five men.
So far they have not managed to escape but they have come up with another plan to try again tonight.

That evening, the five men, including the murderer of Near's parents, come up with silly jokes and tell each other.
The murderer of Near's parents, who by the way is called James, gives Rocky  the last chicken leg.
Rocky is James' 5 month old puppy.
Rocky is a sweet caring Belgian Sheepdog.
And he has a close relationship with Mihael.

When Mihael has noticed that the men don't stop making silly jokes, he heaves a deep sigh and walks upstairs where he sees Matt looking out the window.

He looks over his shoulder at Mihael who comes in.

And he sits on the edge of his bed and sees that he has opened the door a little bit.
He gets up to close the door completely, but then Rocky suddenly runs inside.

Mihael frowns as the puppy runs inside.
He smiles.

Matt also sees the puppy and looks at Mihael: "I don't think James is taking good care of Rocky at all".
Mello sits down on the edge of his bed again and looks at his best friend and looks at Rocky who obediently sits at his feet and looks at him with puppy eyes.
"No that's right".
"I think he's been looking for a new owner for a long time".
Mihael then strokes the puppy's head.
