the kidnap

The next evening, Light and Ryuzaki are at work together and on the night shift all night.

Near is at home and babysitting Akira. His little cute brother.

He is playing with Lego and Akira is sleeping upstairs in his crib.

The baby monitor is on the table and Near can hear every sound his little brother makes.

Then he suddenly hears Akira crying loudly.

Ah... it's time for his bottle

He prepares a bottle for his little brother and walks upstairs with the bottle in his left hand.

He opens the bedroom door of the nursery and takes Akira out of his crib and hands him the bottle.

Akira drinks it nicely and gives Near a sweet look.

But meanwhile outside in the dark someone jumps on the window. He holds on tight. And get the window open.

It is raining hard outside and he is soaking wet.

He jumps in. In the baby room.

Near is not startled but he looks questioningly at the shadow person who has just jumped in.

Then he sees that the person has blond wild hair. Beautiful blue eyes and black leather clothes.

Then Near suddenly sees that it is Mihael.

"Mihael?".

Mihael looks at him questioningly: "Near?".

"H....how did you get here?".

"Through the window".

And the two boys feel their hearts pounding in their throats again.

Near swallows a big lump in his throat: "Good to see you again Mihael".

"Good to see you again Near".

Near smiles secretly.

They don't show it to each other but they are very happy to see each other again after two years.

Mihael scratches his neck for a moment: "How uh... are you doing?".

"Fine....with you and Matt?".

Mihael swallows a big lump in his throat and puts his hands in his pockets: "Okay..." and he blushes like crazy.

Near nods: "That's good too."

Then Mihael looks at Akira.

"He's L and Light's son, isn't he?".

Near looks at Akira who has almost finished his bottle. He looks at Mihael again and nods: "Yes".

"What is his name?".

"Akira".

Mihael frowns: "Akira?...named after Kira?...ah...poor child".

"He is not named after Kira at all Mihael....it may seem so because his name is so similar to Kira....but Akira means wise boy in Japanese".

Mihael nods and turns up his nose.

Geez...I really missed him...I just want to give him a big hug and tell him how much I've missed him

But he doesn't.

"I uh...came to warn you".

Near looks at him.

"James...your parents' killer wants to kidnap Akira....he has found out that L and Light have a son with each other...and now he wants to kidnap and kill L's son too".
