Jealousy

Linda  is sitting outside  on a bench.
She looks gloomy and lets out a deep sigh and rests her hands under her chin. She stares blankly at the ground and lets her head dangle. "Hey...what's up?". Linda looks up when she hears a voice behind her. She leans forward again on the couch and looks over her shoulder and sees Matt. He is wearing a gray beanie hat. His brown hair waves super cute  under his gray hat. He is wearing a gray vest and underneath he wears his red shirt with white stripes. And he's wearing light blue jeans with black sneakers with white laces. Linda looks at Matt and sniffs. "What's going on?...why are you so gloomy?". And then he looks at the couch Linda is sitting on and points to the empty spot on the couch: "Can I sit next to you?". Linda looks at him and nods. Matt sits down next to her: "Why do you look so gloomy?".

Linda looks at him and swallows a big lump in her throat: "I discovered yesterday that Near and  Daisy  are both in love with Mello". Matt frowns: "Near  has a crush on Mello?". Linda looks at him and nods. "How nice!...that's what I expected  hahahaha". "Yeah but...the problem is now...Daisy  is one of my best friends...but I actually think  with all my heart  that Near is going to have a relationship with Mello". "And why are you so sad then?". "Because I'm a super bad friend". "Not at all...how do you come to that?". And briefly touches her shoulder insecurely, but then shyly pulls his hand back. He swallows a big lump in his throat as he looks at Linda. And feels red again. ¨Because to me it feels like I'm standing in the middle of two sides¨. Matt looks at her questioningly: ¨What do you mean?¨.

Linda pulls her nose and looks at him: ¨Because Daisy  is one of my best friends...and I really wish her the best....and...what she wants now is that Mihael likes her too and that he becomes her boyfriend...but on the other hand I always thought it would be nice that Mello would become Near's boyfriend because they are always so cute together¨. Matt nods and smiles with his white teeth: ¨You're absolutely right about Linda...but...that  Daisy has a crush on my best friend?...and Near has a crush on him too..... what does that have to do with you?¨. Everything Matt¨. ¨No Linda...it has nothing to do with you...it's Mello's choice who he chooses...or  Daisy or Near...you are just  Daisy's and Near's good friend . Linda sighs and lets out a deep sigh. Matt looks at her cute ponytail: ¨But I  understand  why you feel guilty¨. Linda looks at him and has dried her tears: ¨You get it?¨. ¨Yes...of course....but trust me Linda.....you don't have to feel guilty about anything and it has nothing to do with you¨. And getting redder. Slowly a beautiful smile appears on her face: ¨Thank you Matt...I feel a bit better already¨. Matt smiles: ¨I'm glad about that¨. Linda smiles and gives him a big kiss on the cheek. Opens her eyes again and looks at Matt smiling who looks at her flabbergasted from the kiss he just got from her.
Linda chuckles: ¨You are sweet Matt...thank you¨.

And then she jumps up and hops happily inside.

Matt has turned all red and briefly touches his cheek that has just been kissed by Linda. Who just got kissed by his crush. By Linda!.

Then a broad smile appears on his face and cheerfully runs inside.

There he almost bumps to Mello.

Mello almost falls: ¨Hey man...watch out!¨.

¨I'm sorry Mello...I'm just so happy!¨.

Mello rubs his chin and frowns: Happy?...and why?...did you pass the Super Mario level?¨.

Matt laughs: ¨Even better¨.

Mello frowns: "Why even better?".
Matt chuckles:"Sorry Mel..but I have to run...see you at school tomorrow".
And before Mello can say anything to him, he's already gone.

The next day Linda and Mihael are sitting together on a bench outside.

The weather is lovely.
Mello looks at Linda:" Linda".
Linda looks at him questioningly: "Yes?".
