I slowly woke up. Somehow, with Nishiki's help, I only manage to last one day with my heat. Meaning, today was suppose to be my rest day. My body rolls over, but I manage to roll over to where Nishiki was suppose to be....only to be met with an empty bed. I quickly set up. My body moves so that I slip out of the empty bed. I quickly go over to my closest, well as quickly as someone can while limping. I manage to slip into some clothes so that I wasn't left in my boxers.

I slowly open our bedroom door before walking into the hallway. I hear so lightly walking around. I look over by the door and see Nishiki slipping his shoes on. "Where are you going?" I ask looking at him. He jumps and freezes on the spot before he seems to relax.
"Emergency meeting at work," he answers before turning to see me. I slowly go over towards him.
"I wanna go," I comment. He shakes his head slightly.
"No," he replies. My bottom lip pokes out.
"Please Nishi?" I beg my mate. He still shakes his head no. "Why?" I question him.
"Cause it's an emergency meeting at work," he says, like it was the most obvious thing.
"Well, all I'm catching is emergency meeting, and most likely I will end up knowing. It's just smart and saves a lot of hassle if I go with," my voice comments. He glares at me before muttering out a fine.
I smile slightly at him before leaving a soft kiss on his cheek. He looks over at me before smirking. "What?" My head tilts after asking. He points over towards my neck and my eyes immediately glare at him. "I swear Nishiki! What have I said about leaving hickies!" I say looking as I slip into my shoes.
He chuckles slightly at that. "Sorry," the ghoul mutters.
"Yeah right," I say under my breath.
He gently wraps his arms around me before pulling me close. Nishiki buries his face into my chest, his arms around my waist. Immediately, my hands move to brush through his hair. We stay there for what seems like forever. "We should start heading there before it gets too late," he manages to say with a quiet tone.
I slowly nod my head before we let go of each other. We leave, making sure the apartment was lock before heading to Anteiku. I walk beside Nishiki, every once in a while, leaning into his side some. Nishiki opens the door before we walk in.
Soon the staff only door bust open and Kou comes running to me along with the twins. I wrap my arms around them, holding them close. I gently rub my head over theirs. Nishiki smiles slightly at me for a moment. I glance at my head and nod. He gently kisses my head before slowly intertwining our hands. The kids pull on my other hand before we walk back to the meeting room.
Once there, I already saw Hinami and Touka. Hinami looks over at me before racing and hugging me. I smile and wrap my arms around her, hugging her close. "You came?" She says with this shock tone.
