After the little fight, my feet race me towards a rooftop, why, I don't know. May be it has to deal with the wolf in me sensing something that my normal human state can't sense?
Once I reach the rooftop, I see the scene unfold in front of me. Nishiki with bad wounds, laying beside Touka. Although another scent catches my attention. I look further up on the roof and catch sight of a dark blue-haired male.
"Well, if it isn't my dumbass sister," he says, his eye sigh train on Touka....wait was that the little brother that I manage to over hear about once while I was visiting the coffee shop? "What the hell are you doing here?" He questions her.
"You and me, bro," Touka manages to say, this distaste hanging onto the words. Her eyes change from their normal blue shades to the darkening red and black truth. I glance up as I watch the sky darken to nearly the black, black as the night. The wind starts blowing by.
Evidently my scent must have caught in the wind cause Touka turns her attention towards me. Her eyes widen at that. I glance up and see the same boy, Touka's brother's eyes were widen as well. His having the same red and black color as did all ghouls.
I slowly go over towards Nishiki's side, trying to wake him.
"Nishiki," I slowly whispers down towards him. "Hey come on," I say as I continue to try and wake him up.
A sigh of relief left as he starts moving around. My hands slowly start running through his hair. "Kiyo?" He manages to mutter out.
"I'm here," I whispers back to him. His hand slowly reaches over and holds onto my arm. "I'm not going anywhere," I whisper to him. My nose lightly brushes against his.
"Go save him," Nishiki whispers to me. I shake my head slightly.
"I'm not leaving you here by yourself," I respond. He gently grabs my hands, I still shake my head. "No," my voice being more stern this time.
Screaming pulls both of our attentions towards the scene. The one that Touka claims as her brother, is biting her kagune. Cannibal.
A growl slowly pulls at my throat. My mouth gets heavy suddenly. I feel hands holding onto my arm. I turn to look at Nishiki. "Don't do something you'll regret," he tells me. My lips turn up, forming a smirk.
I glance back over. You could see it. The blue aura had already formed over the rooftop. My attention snaps back over towards the two ghouls. "You taste disgusting," he says. Touka ends up whimpering in response.
Without a second thought, something inside of me snapped. The blue aura snaps over at flings the blue-haired male ghoul across the rooftop. He glances up at me. I watch him closely. He chuckles slightly.
"Well I'll be damned," he says, that devious smirk plagiarizing on his face.
"Piss off asshole," I snap at him. He shakes his head slightly.
"And here I thought everyone was just weak. Seems that I've been proven wrong," his comments his thoughts.
"Well you're sorely mistaken," I growl towards him. I slowly move from Nishiki over towards Touka, my eyes never leaving him.
My arms slowly lean down, trying to pull Touka up enough to drag her back towards Nishiki. "Help me, Dad..." the unconscious ghoul mutters out. I glance down at her. She was heavily bleeding out.
"You're pathetic, calling for Pop at a time like this. He's dead and gone, Touka!" The other ghoul, her brother, exclaims. The anger evident in his voice.
I glance up just in time enough to see his kagune, working just like Touka's does. The wings are able to shoot out shards, exactly what he was doing.
