Chapter 26

***Michael's POV***

"Michael, I think you should go home and get some sleep." Haliey said as she sat down next to me.

"No, not until they let me see her." I said not looking at her.

It's about midnight. They doctor came out and said that Joey was ok and resting, but I couldn't see her till the morning. I have to see her as soon as I can. I'm going to be the first one to see her.

Ashton had to take Rose home because she fell asleep in the hallway. Rebekah went home because Trevor had to go to work and she couldn't get the kids to daycare today. Calum, and Demi went home to clean up, they will be back in the morning. Hailey and I are the only ones up here right now.

"You are stubborn just like her. God, Rose was right, you two are perfect," Hailey said leaning back in her seat. "Michael, she isn't going anywhere. She will be here when you come back. Joey wouldn't want you to be like this. just go, I'll be here."

I sighed and stood up. Hailey is right. "I'll be right back. one hour at the most." Hailey nodded and I left.

As I trudged to the car I started to remember all the good times we had together. I remembered the first day I realized I liked her, possibly loved her.

***flash back***

"Let's go practice in the garage." Calum said.

"Yah, lets go." Ashton said.

Our usual practice location is in Ashton's garage. We all walked to Ashton's house, since we only have our learners permit and we can't drive without a licensed driver.

Once we walked up the driveway Joey came bearing out of the house, chasing Rose, they are so entertaining.

"You bitch! Give it back!" Joey yelled. Rose was just laughing her laugh ass off. In Rose's hand she held a piece of white fabric.

Rose started to run towards us and Joey followed.

"Ashton! I have Joey's over the shoulder bolder holder!" Rose screamed as she held up a bra. Joey's face became really red.

"Rose I'm going to murder you!!!" She yelled at Rose. Ashton laughed and waived his hands around.

"Toss it in the tree!" Ashton yelled.

Rose ran in between us but Joey tackled me by accident.

"Ouch." I said when I hit the ground.

"Sorry Mikey." Joey said blushing.

She stood up and everyone was looking at us. Joey put her hand out for me to take. when I took her hand I felt it. It was like a tingling sensation.

We both let go and looked at each other. That's when I knew, I knew that I liked little Joey Irwin, my friends sister.

***end of flash back***

When I snapped out of the memory I was already in front of the house. I went inside and took my shower, got dressed, and went back down stairs.

It took me about an hour to do all this. So, I went into the kitchen to find something to eat. I opened the fridge and seen fruit snacks, why they are in the fridge is beyond me.

I grabbed them and shut the door. Then I was off, back to the hospital I go.

I literally got this whole chapter done in a restaurant. It probably is a really bad update, sorry.
