Chapter 25

***Michael's POV***

"Bye babe, love you, see you when I get home." Joey said before leaning down and kissing me.

"Love you." I said back smiling.

As she walked out the door I watched her. How could I get so lucky? She's absolutely beautiful and sweet.

I dont know why but I'm getting this bad feeling that something's going to happen. I just shrugged it off. She'll be fine, she's tuff.

When she shut the door I grabbed my laptop. I opened the lid and turned it on. Today is the day that the guys and I are going to go check out Joey's surprise.

I can't wait for her to see it. Hailey has been helping me pick it out. She's the only girl that knows, all the guys know, and her parents know.

Her surprise has to be perfect. The surprise is that I bought us a house. It's not small but it's not too big. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Hopefully she loves it.

I'm going to show her tonight because we are leaving two days from now. I'm sad I have to leave but I'm really excited for tonight.

"Michael! Come on, let's go!" Luke yelled.

I closed the laptop and stood up. Time to go check it out.

We all loaded into the car and we were on our way. The whole time Ashton was on his phone, Calum was acting like he was playing the guitar, and Luke was starring out the window.

Once we pulled up, we all got out and studied the outside of the house. It was a tan color with a white door. There was a giant window on one side of the door and 2 smaller windows on the other.

I pulled the key out of my pocket when we got to the door. After I unlocked it, we went around looking at the rooms and bathrooms.

The house had a couple of things that came with it. There is this little fireplace that you plug into the wall and it lights up, it looks like a real fire but you can tell it's fake.

Of corse, being the dumb asses we are, talked Ashton into laying on it. Ashton got up on it, proper his knee up, and put hit head on his hand.

"At night." He said in a deep voice, like in that one episode of spongebob. Luke took his picture and we continued to mess around.

The house was nice, it needed some work, but other than that it looked great.

After about 2 hours of cleaning and messing around ashton got a call.

"Hey babe," He answered. "Wait, slowdown what happened?!" He said into the phone. "Rose, calm down, I can't understand you." There was another silence. "Hailey, we will be right there." He then closed the phone.

His hands were shaking and his eyes weld up with tears. Ashton looked up at me and took a deep breath.

"I-It's Joey, S-She's in the hospital. Someone hurt her when they were at the mall." Ashton stuttered as he said it.

My eyes got big and I dropped the broom I was holding. I knew that the feeling I got this morning meant something, but no, I just had to ignore it! Oh god, Joey!

I ran straight out the door with the guys behind me. Every one got in and I got in the driver seat. As soon as everyone was in I quickly drove towards the hospital.

"Michael, shes going to be ok." Calum tried to calm me down but it wasn't working.

I have so many things running threw my mind. What if the kids are really hurt? What if Joey is really hurt?

We pulled up to the hospital, parked the car, and ran in. I ran right up to the lady at the desk.

"What room is Joey Irwin in?" I asked her.

She turned to her computer and taped on the key board. It felt like hours before she told me. It was probably only a couple minutes but I have no patience at the moment.

"She's in room 218, they aren't letting people in yet. There are 5 girls waiting in the hallway."

I quickly nodded and ran towards her room. When I got close I seen someone sitting outside the door with her head in her knees and someone sitting next to her. By the size of her, I could tell it was Rose. The girl next to her was Rebekah, Joey's old friend from high school.

"Rose." Ashton said when he seen Rose.

Rose's head shot up and her eyes were red from crying. I've only seen rose cry a couple of times, and that was when we were watching a movie.

Rebekah turned and looked at us. She had red eyes from crying too.

"Rose, Rebekah, what happened?" I asked. Rose stood up and threw her arms around Ashton. Well, I'm not getting anything out of Rose.

I turned to Rebekah. She whipped below her eyes and turned to me.

"We went to go see a movie. After the movie, Joey went to go to the bathroom. No one else had to go, so she went by herself. Then that stupid bitch tried to kill her. We heard her scream and we tried to break the door down. It was locked. Hailey wasn't having it, she broke down the fucking door tackled that bitch." Rebekah stopped and studied my expression. Rose came up and finished for her.

"I called the cops and Rebekah took the phone because I was breaking down. I don't do blood. Then she took my shirt and tried to stop the blood," I looked down and Rose was wearing a hospital shirt. "I should have went in there with her. Demi and Hailey held that bitch down till the police and an ambulance came."

"The doctors are in their trying check the injuries on Joey and her babies." Rebekah said.

"Where are Demi and Hailey?" I asked.

"They went to get Rose a shirt and the car that we left at the mall." Rebekah said.

I nodded and took a seat right across from the room Joey was in. Rose sat back on the ground with her head in her hands. We all settled in the hall. Calum sat next to me and tried to cheer me up.

"You know Joey. She's bull headed and strong. She'll be ok." Calum said and put his hand on my shoulder.

"I hope." I said as I put my head in my hands.

Ok, I know, people want to kill me right now. Just hold on, there will be a lot more.

Honestly I didn't plan on this to happen in the book. I was just writing and I was like 'oh, shits about to hit the fan'.

So, after I posted that chapter, one of my friends texted me. She was like "you bitch! I need more! Post or I'll cut you." I laughed so hard.

Well that's all I have to tell you right now.

Oh! I almost forgot! I won't be uploading like I have been. It will still be frequent but I have to go back to school tomorrow. :(
