"Jack, please put the costume on." I begged my 7 year old son. today is Halloween and Jack is refusing to put on his superman costume.
"But I don't want to." He said crossing his arms.
"Why? You told me you wanted to be superman." I said as I crouched down to his level.
"I want to be daddy for Halloween. He always saves the day," Jack said, "like that day there was a monster under my bed. He saved me from the mean ugly monster!"
It warmed my heart to hear Jack say that. Mary Jane ran in the room with Michael chasing her. she was dressed as a fairy and looked absolutely adorable.
Michael scooped her up and started to tickle her. Mary giggled as she was being tickled. After Michael placed her on the ground he looked over at us.
"Why aren't you dressed buddy?" He asked.
"Because I don't want to be superman." He said crossing his arms again.
Michael looked confused. he looked over at me and I mouthed 'he wants to be you for Halloween'. The smile that spread across his face was priceless. He was so happy!
"Come with me." He held his hand out for Jack to take and they left the room.
I did Mary's hair as we waited. Michael came back into the room with a smile across his face.
"Now presenting, Jack Clifford." Michael said.
Jack walked in the room with Michael's giant t-shirt on and a pair of jeans. I smiled and grabbed a hair tie. I tied jack's shirt up so it wasn't like a dress on him and messed his hair up like Michael's.
"You look very handsome, Jack." I said smiling at my son.
Then we were off to get some candy.

Michael and I had a small wedding the fall after the kids were born. Only our close family and friends came, about 40 people, mostly my family. Demi, Rose, Hailey, and Rebekah were my brides mades.
We didn't go on a honeymoon, we planed on doing it when the kids were older and when Michael wasn't on tour.
Well... that was the crazy story of how I fell in love with the boy who dyes his hair and loves pizza.
